Would probably require a massive change to the engine, but I would love to see bowler specialisations and how conditions affect them. For example, if it's a hot day and a flat pitch, you might select a slightly inferior reverse swing bowler over a swing bowler. Alternatively, you might choose to go with a bowler with a great slower ball in a one day match over an out-and-out quick.

Make RF/LF bowlers a rarity in the game and also very injury prone with stress fractures and constant niggles but when fully fit the bowl like demons especially on flat pitches.
Scrap T20 matches and tournaments.
Test nations should play a minimum of 8 tests per year.
Player profiles should have the year the player retired recorded.

Scrapping T20 is a terrible idea. I don't particularly love it more or less than any of the other forms of the game, but it has its place and some people very much enjoy it. Just because you dislike them doesn't mean they shouldn't exist. Removing them completely from the simulation would mean ICC would less-reflect real cricket, and as a simulation game that would be detrimental to its cause.
Whilst I do think that if you captain a team higher up the test ladder they should get more test fixtures, I don't think at least 8 tests a year for all teams would reflect reality all that well. Even the mighty South Africa only have 6 tests scheduled for the next 12 months in real life, sometimes it just happens that not many tests come a team's way.
I agree with your last point, would be a nice touch for sure.
Having duckworth-lewis affected games would be pretty interesting, but they'd have to get the balance (and formula!) right. It's a super confusing formula for the average Joe to understand.

Not sure if this has been mentioned in this thread yet but I mentioned it in a different one. I would very much like to be able to play a multi player, 2 player career. 2 player saves on football manager always enhance the experience for me and a mate of mine has always agreed that this would be a brilliant addition to this game... Especially now that you have the capability of hosting online/lan games through steam. Picking a county each with a mate or even someone on these forums and doing a full career as different teams, competing for the same players at the end of the season etc would be brilliant.

In county matches, it's imperative sometimes (particularly on the last round of the season) to know what is happening elsewhere. This info can not be viewed until the match is over.
Not sure why it was removed, but it was a crucial feature I feel.

i) Please bring back 2 player mode. I play this with my son and have gone back to the 2013 version of the game (so this will be my last grumble. Sorry Chris, but I hope the grumbles have been constructive ones). 2 player mode is a family and friends thing, and I think it is really important for your game
ii) how about the ability to choose a 'world XI' - surely not too difficult if you left it to us to avoid duplicate players on each side
iii) squad list needs to be put back alongside player details for selection
iv) batsman preferences needs to be put back where it can be seen when you make fielding changes

Only thing that doesn't work (and I think this is simply because the selectable icon is too small) is the options to alter the view on the squad screens - career, current, last year etc .... Batting, bowling , form, etcLast edited by Dick Van Dykes Disco Dog; 08-21-2014, 07:13 AM.
