  • The thing I have really wanted to see for years is the retention of more records.

For example: the top 20 highest scores, rather than just the one for each county; records for matches and performances against each opposition; also, it would also be nice if the fact that a player scored the most runs or took the most wickets in a season could be recorded on their profile.

    • I'd like the game to start with the end of season squads prior to the starting season in the game.
That would allow managers to choose their own new signings straight away.

Yep agree - releasing deadwood immediately rather than at the end of the first season

I like the idea of this, but it is also challenging to takeover a club and have to make do for the first season. On balance the latter probably reflects real life better, as I doubt a new coach has licence to hire and fire a week or so before the start of a new season.

          • I also have felt for a long time that regens are always a better option that the youngsters already in the game, I would like the youngsters that are known to be considered very highly already (who are real) to have the same sort of potential, if not better, than the best regens, otherwise after a few seasons there are virtually no real players left in the game which I find slightly annoying and very unrealistic that players who are already established at age 19-21 in the first season soon stop getting picked because some regen is automatically better.

            • I agree tasker. There are of course some players who are aged 17 today, who we don't know about yet who will be picked for their country in 4-5 years time, so it wouldn't be a case of making regens worse - perhaps just improving the potential of some existing young players?

              • I'd like the option of turning off the LBW ball tracker.

                • I would love to be able to select my team and then just watch the match played out by the match engine without any interruptions.

Sounds good! What about if one could control tactics from the highlights page, like one can in Football Manager?

                    • Right, I know this game is on a fairly small budget so I'm unsure how realistic either of these things would be but let me know what you think if they were possible...

                      1. A level of comfortableness (Natural, Accomplished, Competent, Unnatural, Ineffective) such as used in Football Manager positions for positions in the batting line-up. For example, let's take Ian Bell, he isn't as good at 3 in Test Matches (where he would probably be seen as accomplished) as he would be at 4 and 5. However, if you tried to bat him at 8, he'd be Unnatural or maybe ineffective and perform considerably worse.

                      2. The ability to train a player into an all-rounder, for example, lets say I'm Durham and have Mark Wood, he has potential to be a good batsman as seen by his 66 the other day for Durham and feel if you could train him on the game, he could become a bowling all-rounder which would be useful for my side.

Like I say, I don't know if they'd be realistic, but what do you think of the idea?

                      • I don't know if this feature exists or not but I would really like to watch the history page of the Indian T20 competition to find out the winnrs of the previous editions similar to the WC history page.

I think this would be nice for all competitions.

                            • Don't know if it's too late to throw in my requests as well, but anyway here goes!

The ability to review the progress of four-day and five-day matches session by session, at least in the most recently concluded fixtures. After all it is an old saying to play "one session at a time", and sometimes it helps to look back at each session and see where the game changed. Which sessions you won and which sessions the AI won.

I have been using Luke Wells as a part-time spinner in my Sussex game where I usually go in with four specialist seamers. He responded to technique coaching in aggressive bowling.
