Well I suppose if T20 is all you care about then Warner is decent. But in the real world, all he can do is hit the ball far. If his FC record were better then I would agree that his rating should be higher but all he's done has been in the shorter forms of the game

Re all-rounders, some of the younger players are down as all-rounders because that's what sites like Cricinfo says, and because they're touted as up and coming all-rounders, even if their stats may not show it yet.

I mentioned this before, pretty sure it's been fixed by the last patch..

Dave Warner is a hard one, I was playing with NSW and he was useless in the T20, which is unrealistic, but I have to agree with Chewie, he is CRAP.

And Steve Smith's batting is realistic.

I dont understand how anyone can say things like Hazelwood's bowling is underrated and Smith's batting is over rated. Both are relatively untested, the game should be random like that...

maybe they should implement a thing how it says if they are a specialist ina certain form of the game, eg dave warner is a t20 specialist, katich is a longer form specialist yousuf pathan is a short form specialist, and it would improve their skills for that form of the game. it would remove the "warner is CRAP" argument and might also stop players who only play ODI and T20I but not test playing heaps of tests because they are good at what they specialize in

They already have this feature essentially. Check the batsmens aggression

thats just their scoring speed you fool it may effect it a little but nowhere near enough to say that it classifies as being that feature

Poor examples given that Katich and Pathan are high quality domestic players in the other forms, plus there are hundreds of other features people would rather see developers time spent on than that.

It's enough for me. If a player has good aggression i give them a run in t20 and see how they go. A part of the game imo is trying players and finding out what works as in real life you won't always know if a young player will be good in certain situations. What i'd like in this regards maybe is more info on the players past playing experience where you can see the 2nd's league results which would help you as you'd see how they went in 2nds 20/20 leagues etc.

Shaiiq Choudhry is not a LS bowler, he is a SLA bowler.

Hate to bring the man up again (See above. He seems to be most the most talked about player on these threads!) but he should really be an allrounder, despite his stats.

Gareth Andrew should probably be an all-rounder too

I'm not so sure on Andrew, sure his innings the other day was nothing short of exceptional and he can certainly hold a bat, but would he be used in the top order for anything other than "He's a free license, got hit some sixes, if you get out, it doesn't matter."

Though, I now have thoughts going through my head of some sort of "free-license" player type/instruction.

Can the India-Australia fixtures be put in please?
And also, can we PLEASE have the real teams that are in next years world cup?
it always has namibia and UAE every time. it should only ever be out of the top 7 associate teams ireland netherlands kenya afghanistan canada scotland bermuda

We have been discussing player rankings in another thread, and I have been reliably(?) informed that someone called Brett Pelser is coded in the database as the best batsman in the world. Please tell me this isn't true!

I've never posted in this thread before because I thought it was about matters that are in the eye of the beholder. Now I'm being told there are insane errors in the database that are undetectable without a database editor.

I'm still hoping I've misunderstood. Still, if it's true, it means that people with editors can serve a valued function in our community. We're counting on you guys to point out important (not to mention GLARING) database errors that the rest of us can't even see.

You're thinking of Andrew McDonald not Tim MacDonald
