I'm big on stats and comparing performances historically. I really wish that all-time scores were scored somewhere (even if it's just the all-time scores for players who appeared in that edition of the game). It'd be great to compare your players stats from 2030 to your players from 2016. All of the information is already collected by the game, but it just seems to delete data when a player retires.

The other big thing is the point I made in the other thread about conditions. It'd be good to see players have a preferred condition and then play to it. Ie most Australians prefer bouncing/hard wickets, Englishmen seem to thrive in overcast/swinging conditions and the Indians love a spinning dustbowl.

Also, one of the big things I've mentioned before is having a fielding skill rating that can be improved with coaching. Having a first slip who rarely drops a catch could be huge in most county games.

It would be neat to see a more involved fielding system. For instance, developing someone into a specialist slipper or short fielder, so that they are put into those positions (if available) whatever the field (default or manual), and the ability to develop players into other roles. Making a batsman into a part-time wicket keeper and then a wicket keeper (think Alex Stewart) or a batsman with some bowling skill into an all rounder and vice versa.

I think the first suggestion would be tough on whoever does the database, as someone would have to work out whether a player is a specialist fielder of any kind. The forum would descend into arguments over whether the likes of Ben Harmison is a slip fielder or a boundary fielder etc etc!

I like the idea of players morphing into a different type of player e.g. developing the batting of a bowler to the point where he becomes an all-rounder (the icon changes), or persisting with a batsman who isn't an opener until the point when it becomes his "natural" slot. That said, I'm always convinced by specialist openers. SA's ill-fated plan to turn van Zyl into an opener are an example of this!

I think for me I would rather spend less time thinking about fielders and field settings. But that's perhaps just personal preference. I do like the idea of the icons reflecting performances. The likes of Wadlan in my games always ends up being more of a batsman who can bowl a bit, but his icon stays stubbonly as a specialist bowler.

I would literally do anything for an editor, in game or pre-game. I know the affects it has on Online play (not sure how much this is used, I certainly never do) but it's 2016 surely there is a way to have an editor that can't be used online. The game is/was partially ruined by some players being much too good, Adam Lyth i'm looking at you. Additionally, the ability to modify the game with skins etc, I used to love the old cricket captains where you had a picture of the ground you were playing at in the background, made every match feel different.

That would be a good feature. It's a bit disappointing, especially when playing international cricket, when Adam Lyth is averaging 85 after 30 games. If it couldn't be implemented, it would be cool to have a feature whereby you could see a player's ratings that designate their quality in the game - especially if you have a youth player and want to see how much coaching they will need to become half-decent (if coaching actually has that much effect).

Three features that I think could be potentially great are:

                1. Being able to switch teams in the middle of a save game (e.g. play with Essex for 20 years and then switch to Warwickshire or even switch competitions like to NSW)
                2. Having an A Team to manage and/or use for national duty trials
                3. Having associate team careers - this would be the most beneficial to the game I would think.

I think all three of those suggestions are excellent. Especially the associate careers, a) for the challenge and b) for the potential to sign associate players in first class careers. A kind of job side to things, much like being able to switch would be interesting, with perhaps having a kind of ladder to climb from club > international coach, though how you would implement that without breaking up gameplay, I do not know.

                    1) I would like to see more T20 specialists being generated like Naved ul-Hasan, Pollard and D Miller or FC specialists like Pujara.I see regens which are good in all formats, therefore for some variety I would like to see such type of players.

                    2) Would be great to see the addition of contracts and A team.

                    3) Would also like to see matches being played in night background.

                    4) I would like to see players with different batting and bowling styles like-
                    RHB/SLA
                    LHB/OS
                    LHB/RF

                    5) Would want to see a continuous supply of good-quality regens. I sometimes see WKs with pathetic averages or at times no LHBs.

                    6) Would want players to improve with age.

                    7) Would like to see addition of more cups like Asia Cup or even a random cup.

                    8) More practice matches.

                    9) Allow to alter no. of matches in a tour.

                    10) Information about the venue and list of records.

                    11) Allow nations to set pitch at home.

                    12) Allow to change logo of teams.

                    13) Ability to change some variation in uniforms of a particular team.

                    14) Let a player to change his style over time. (a bowler becoming an all-rounder)

                    Suggestions for future games.

What about youth reports (for first class careers) in which you can actually see the youth players that are coming up through the age groups and see how they're progressing (perhaps even influence to whom your resources are going - for instance you might see that you have a couple of decent batsmen coming through, so you focus resources towards youth batting coaching). Could be linked with budgets - that way, instead of regens being randomly brilliant or dreadful, everything's your fault if you don't treat them right.

I thought NZ teams play everyone at home and everyone away? 10 FC matches a season, like in Aus and SA? I think that combined with T20 and List A matches, that would make for quite a fulfilling season.

I think everyone agrees A Team would be a great addition.
Also I think being able to alter the Pitches in International Mode would be great.

I also think having younger Youth players would be great, like 15, 16, 17 Year olds coming through.

NSW just had a 17yo Debut in a FC game for them this week.

True. I think too (considering a similar thread for the previous edition) that the ability to play a number of teams is something a lot of people are keen on. Whether this is being able to switch from team to team, similar to Cricket Coach perhaps, or in the form of picking a team and going through the levels (U-19/youth, A team/2nd XI, First team).

I agree to pretty much everything said here. Some more ideas
-Ability to skip an innings similar to cricket coach autoplay
-Ability to skip through a period of time. For example, I may want to skip the first season just so I can see how my players can perform without wasting too much time and get stuck straight into recruiting on eyear later. Another example for me is that I dislike one dayers so the ability to quickly skip through that competition
-I really like the idea of associate teams
-Similar to ^ I would love to see weaker club teams be added so you can gradually work your way up the club rankings. Alternatively, of a database editor can be added, the ability to creste your own club would be awesome. The way I would love to see it as that you create club details then choose a competition to be in. Then, you are assigned 20 odd randomly generated players with average ability. From there, you need to raise you reputation to be able to secure big signatures. E.g. When you start the best player you can sign would be say Lendl Simmons or an associate star. As your reputation increases, you can attract bigger players such as Shaun Marsh or David Willey. Then, when your club has a bright potential you can secure signatures such as Steve Smith or Kane Williamson.
-I really want to see players who favour certain conditions. So, in their profile with their batting preferences, it could say things such as 'slight dusty pitch preference' on a Glenn Maxwell or 'Strong green pitch preference' for Jimmy Anderson. Confusing as it may sound, the basic gist of it is that different players will perform better in different regions and against differemt teams. That leads me to how every country's pitch are almost identical, or of they are differemt there is no way of telling. One thing they must borrow from Cricket Coach is the screen summarising the pitch.

I feel CC Administrators have done a brilliant job on the graphics of the fielders.
It would be great to have the option to change the position of the Wicket Keeper while setting the field.
To make it better, it would be a good option to add an 'ultra aggressive' mode where the player will go for a run no matter what and try to steal a bye off the last ball. I would be focusing on the altering the no. of matches option.
