Just brought on IOS. The menu options near to the bottom of the screen are missing when you tap the boxes. For example on the player profile screen. When you tap left or right on the arrows it does show what you are looking at but not in the dropbox of options.

    galvatron and Lynx54321

If I have counted correctly, in the initial game database, roughly 27.4% of active players bat left-handed (almost triple the proportion in the general population).

Interestingly, I count only 17.7% of retired "all-time great" players batting left-handed. Perhaps Lynx54321's comment about left-handedness being encouraged these days could be one factor behind this increase in recent times.

I will need to run a savegame for many seasons before I can make any useful measurements with regens (which could take me a while - I've only played 1 match in CC 2020 so far, due to being busy).

Was it the first time you sync'd that save to Dropbox that you had cancelled it? Be good for us to repeat it so we can fix it.

Next thing to do is go in to:

    C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming\Childish Things\Cricket Captain 2020\Saves

    Find cache.db and delete it.

Then try in load game again.
Yes deleting the cache file seems to have done the trick. Cheers

    1) Untick dropbox in the game menu. Restart the game and then re-enable Dropbox. Then check Load Game.

    If 1 doesn't work:

    2) Untick dropbox in the game menu. Restart the game and then go in to load game, does it still crash?

I tried both of these, and even uninstalling and reinstalling the demo and linking to a 2nd Dropbox account but its still crashing for me. I think the issue may have arisen when I cancelled syncing files onto Dropbox modway and tried to delete my saves in the game.

It's not a big issue for me, I'll just wait for the Android release but thought I'd let you know.

There are some coaches who will coach the dominant hand to be at the top of the bat rather than below. Hence effectively making a right handed person a left handed bat.

Studies suggest that approximately 10% of all people are left-handed (so one per team of 11 would sound about right). However, it's also well-known that left-handers gain an advantage in several sports (including cricket) because their opponents are better trained against the right-handed majority. Therefore, the proportion is likely to be higher than 10% among professional cricketers, but I'm not sure by how much.

I would expect this to have been calculated correctly for regens. But if it hasn't been, then it certainly should be.

I'm on tour in Zimbabwe and playing Mashonaland in a 3 day game. They've selected 11 specialist batsmen, surely an error here?

I don’t know if it counts as a bug but during Bangladesh T20 tournament's player draft, a number of players who are actually out of contract doesn’t appear in contract list. So even if you want to buy them, you can't because they are not in the list

I don’t know about PSL but BPL starts maybe in mid December (can't quite remember now) maybe it can be rescheduled to a time when Bangladeshi international players will be available, atleast for 80% of the tournament . It would be very nice if it can be done.
Cricket FTP is released for 4 years (Upto 2023 for now) if I am not wrong so I think game generates the the future seasons through its own algorithms. Scheduling is generally fine in first 2-3 seasons when it follows the FTP as Premier T20 league doesnt coincide with international commitments as far as I have noticed. Its the future years which game produces itself to continuously have international matches of the teams during premier T20 domestic tournaments.

Australian T20 competition coincides with international commitments even in real life but same is not true for Pakistan as well as Bangladesh which create their own window for their T20 competition. So maybe something like having the same international schedule which the algorithm produces but should be covered in the period outside of the premier T20 competition.

I don’t think it’s been mentioned yet but sorry if it has - I’ve just had an unexpected clash/bug(?) with T20 blast and West Indian prem league, where my English county players left to go overseas just before I’d played the semi final of the T20 blast.

2 points on this - firstly, and I may be wrong here, but I wouldn’t have thought that English County players (Contracted in all formats) are permitted to leave mid season for West Indian prem league. Secondly, if I am wrong on the first point then I’m almost certain that it would not be the case in real life where a contracted county player would miss out on a the English t20 comp semi’s/final to go to play another league, at minimum they would be available to their county and then leave after
