I just honestly hope in next year's edition there isn't an overflow of Twenty20 tournaments - I would prefer to see some Associate stuff and more triangular series' and 'A' sides before the BPL or SLPL etc.

A great idea which can brighten your future

It would be great if we first manage the A team before the International series.
Now we have IPL later even add Other Indian domestic leagues.

They should also add a second team feature for IPL and BBL because at the moment uncapped domestic players have no stats so it is impossible to choose which ones to buy and which ones not to buy.

I'd like each country to have a development squad where you (as manager) can select 10 promising youngsters and give them ongoing training throughout the season. This would help develop future stars more quickly.

Another thing is maybe add some bowling characteristics like we have with batting characteristics. For anyone who doesn't know what I am talking about I mean (e.g. below)

Aggressive Style
Strong Pace Bowling Preference
Slight Back Foot Preference
Opener in T20

We could also have (e.g. below)

Rob Jones

Very Aggressive Bowler
Opening Bowler in T20
Leg-Spinner



That comes to another point that we should have specialist opening bowlers/ new ball bowlers and in ODI and T20 spinners can be a part of that list e.g. Michael Beer, Yusuf Pathan and Nathan McCullum

I duno if some1 has mentioned it.. but i think it wud be a great idea to have some sort of search engine that allows u to quickly search specific players instead of looking through the whole database

It is very annoying that in IPL and BBL there is no 2nd team stats to view. Could this be fixed in the next patch?

Another thing we need is more domestic leagues. We only have 3 domestic leagues and that is not nearly enough.

Contracts

I have found in the IPL contract negotiations are very difficult. No marquee players can be afforded and it is difficult to build a strong team. What I do is I have 1 icon player and try and build a team around him which is a non-risk strategy in terms of getting a full squad but if he doesn't fire you would be very lucky to win the match. I reckon there should be a contract system like the real system with a few minor tweaks.

1. Have a capped Indians auction with a salary cap of $3,000,000

2. Have an overseas players auction with a salary cap of $4,000,000 and you must buy 6-11 players.

3. Have an uncapped Indian players auction where the prices are lower and a salary cap of $4,000,000 and they allow you to complete your 18-30 man squad.

4. All players unsold in the auction with a requested price under $2,000,000 for 1, $500,000 for 3, $200,000 for 4 and $100,000 for the rest can be used to fill up the 30 man squad.

This may not be perfect but there will be bonuses for what you finish. In season 1 all players must be signed on a 3 year contract, in season 2 on a 2 year contract and in season 3 on a 1 year contract and you may retain up to 4 players but 10% of your budget is deducted. This is to keep realistic with the real league.

It should be set like a real auction with real bids etc.

I understand this may not be perfect but it is the best of my ideas and I hope they are useful.

I believe depending on your international and club teams performances you should earn money and power so you can arrange international matches, A team matches, warm up and practice matches and coaching camps in foreign countries. This way as well as being the manager of your team you can also be the CEO of your board.
