  • Think marnus labuschagne has earned himself a boost with his performance against West Indies
His current record would suggest a once in a decade test talent but his batting average almost always falls to mid 40s in game

His ability is exactly where it should be, one of the best players in the game.

    • Still the same issues with too many players getting out in the 90s for mine.

      • I'm thinking about buying the latest version a second time for my new device (different operating system so J can't just transfer my purchase).

Is there any update on when the update for the BBL and the latest tests might be applied? I don't want to start a new save with out of date teams

          What makes you think this?

His 188* came in 2nd class SA Cricket (ie, similar level to Minor counties in England). He can bat a bit, but generally at 8 or 9.

His recent scores in SA top domestic level aren't anything to write home about.

The Aus update will hopefully be out in a week or so, platform pending.

Hmm I feel like it's what I've seen him described/listed as.

I think he probably needs a batting downgrade in game then, I've had great success using him as an opener in white ball cricket!

Okay, I've nobbled him a bit.

              • Sureshot re Guest he averaged just under 40 this season with 900+ runs at no 3 in the batting lineup and scored 4 tons as well as keeping full time. Serious player.

In game I'm struggling to get him averaging over 25 at a s/r of 35...

I think he needs better than potential. He's good in real life now.

And he averaged 25 the season before, his ability is somewhere between the two seasons performance, that is fair.

                  • A few points for the Big Bash

                    Adelaide

Matt Short should be improved with the bat, has been one of their best batters this season. Also a small bowling upgrade would be fair after some economical overs for him.
Gibson has opened in the last game, possibly should be moved to 20 ovr opener?
Thomas Kelly needs a slight improvement with the bat

                    Hobart

Paddy Dooley has had a great start to BBL12, needs to be improved with ball.
Boland does not have a contract with the Hurricanes this season

                    Sydney Green

Chris Green needs an improvement with the ball
Ollie Davies should be improved with the bat, having a career best season in real life.

Also, remove the big bash point, it has been scrapped in real life.

I don't really feel that is fair or accurate though. You say he has potential but in reality he realised his potential last season when he was one of the best batters in D2...

In game he's poor and not good enough to warrant keeping if you're playing as Derbs and in reality he was a mainstay at 3 scoring bags of runs and 4 tons.

Surely there should be a bias towards more recent form for young players rather than averaging over two seasons especially when 2021 was played in a side struggling for form and when he was often shoehorned into opening to boot.
