Next update - James Pattinson retired today from FC cricket. Not sure what cricket he will play now.

He's probably going to break a few records for Dandenong CC. Probably worth delisting him from all CC22 teams but not retiring him. Since he hasn't technically called it quits fully, he could always come back for the next BBL season or decide a Carribean holiday is on the cards for his family when CPL rolls around next year. I highly doubt he'll play professional cricket again, but not worth retiring him until it's official.

After a bad start in his first game I have to say this guy looks a pretty serious player. Bowls very quick and gets the ball moving. Certainly a step above Davis, Barnes or Walker.

I personally think the SA v Bangladesh test series needs to be taken out and the 2 tests put in the stats instead considering the white ball half of that series is already in the stats and other international & domestic series' that finished after that are in the stats as well.
South Africa pulled out of their away ODI series against Australia due to be played in January and have conceded all the points, but it is still in the game.

I think that's the issue with the 2021-22 campaign encroaching on the 2022 season and the game quite understandably tries to replicate the game as far as it shows on the calendar. But yeah, seeing as the ODI part of the series is included in the stats, it makes sense to have the artistic license to remove the tests from the schedule and add to the stats. Also, the West Indian 4 day competition finished in June so at the commencement of the game, there's uncompleted stats on the 'previous season' which could be updated too.

The domestic comps that finished in June (WI and Indian 4 day) have been updated in the game and included in the last season of data.

Saqib Mahmood, Jofra Archer, Mark Wood, Chris Woakes should all be injured until the end of the T20 WC. I think it's highly unlikely that any of them would be able to play in the World Cup.
Ben Stokes should be retired from ODIs
Ollie Pope should be changed to an occasional keeper rather than being a full keeper.
Virat Kohli should be batting at number 3 rather than as an opener in T20s. He's only opened once in T20Is since 2018 and usually bats at 3, which should take precedence over the IPL. He's also batted at 3 more times than opening in the IPL as well.
Colin Munro should get a huge nerf in international selection as he's currently a regular in both white ball sides despite being nowhere near selection in the T20I WC side, and he definitely wouldn't get in the ODI side, especially in the middle order.
Matt Henry, Tom Latham & Harry Nicholls aren't overrated, but shouldn't be anywhere near the T20I side, Henry hasn't played a T20I since 2017.
Glenn Phillips should be bowling a lot more than he currently does as in some saves he doesn't bowl a ball.
Tom Latham should be changed to an occasional keeper, he ends up replacing the regular keepers Blundell & Seifert in the Test & T20I sides
Adam Milne should be out injured until the end of the 100. He's missed the 100, the New Zealand European tour & the IPL due to persistent injuries and so should be ruled out until the start of the NZ domestic season.
Imam ul-Haq is a T20I regular in CC22 despite not playing a T20I since 2019
Kusal Perera should be out injured with a shoulder injury until the start of September.
Gerhard Erasmus should be an allrounder rather than being a keeper. I don't think he's been a keeper for years. Changed
Tamim Iqbal should be retired from T20Is Done
Paul Stirling currently doesn't bowl a ball in my saves when he's usually quite a handy option with the ball for Ireland.
Lorcan Tucker should be changed to batting at 3 in T20s. He's been a regular there since first playing there against the USA in December, and is averaging 45 at a 142 strike rate with 4 fifties from 9 innings.
George Dockrell should be batting at 5 in T20s and at 5 or 7 in 50 overs cricket
Kevin O'Brien has retired from all international cricket. He needs to be unretired from domestic 50 overs cricket as he has been playing some for Leinster Lightning this season Done
William Porterfield retired from all cricket, not just internationals. Porterfield has gone straight into coaching with various teams. Retired from international, but not domestic as played in 2022 season.
A number of UAE players (Ashfaq Ahmed, Qadeer Ahmed, Shaiman Anwar, Amir Hayat, Mohammad Naveed & Ghulam Shabbir) have all been banned but are currently not banned in the game A few of these were retired, I've retired all others.
Steven Taylor is still down as a keeper despite being an allrounder - gave up keeping due to a back injury - for a number of years now. He also bowls very economical right arm offspin rather than medium pace. Changed

Simon Harmer's bowling is massively underrated in all formats in my opinion. With the ball he should be averaging in the low 20s if not even lower, but in the game he tends to average in the mid 20s and higher. His economy also needs lowering in T20s
David Bedingham has been batting at 4 for Durham in the T20s so should possibly be changed from an opener
George Linde is underrated in batting and very underrated in bowling, and his economy needs lowering, especially in the white ball formats where he tends to go at 8+ in-game despite in real life going at under 7 for the past few years in the format.
