  • twenty-20 Gamplay Big Issue

Twenty-20 is diffrent game from test or one day

Really In ICC 2010 Twenty-20 gameplay really sucks

Chasing High total not possible .

chasing above 7 runs/over is such difficult task
Players Plays as just they are playing one day take too much time to settle
Or If we go for aggressive then only result they will "OUT"

so 20-20 gamePlay is Big issue where need Improvement
After Historical Retired Players Stats ,Captains Record
    Is my Next Dream

Take it easy bro...t20 is the most dfficult form of cricket in ICC to adopt but once you spend some time playing the game you will be much better in t20. But first you must have some gud odi batsmen and some good agressive wicket taking bowlers to be able to compete in t20s.....

I haven't played that many T20 games in ICC 2010 (although I have the T20 World Cup coming up), but I can't really remember setting, or chasing, a RR of 7+.

        I've chased 180 before in T20

But yeah its hard. Sometimes you don't get past 100. Most of my scores are in the 120 - 150 range, which is about the same as the real thing.

Once you are able to find some good batsmen and good bowlers T20 will be the most fun as then you will have the right resouces to play and win the T20.

This. It is really hard with weak teams and you have to be spot on with tactics.

Oh yeah. I limited Australia to 122, but still only made 119 for the loss of fewer wickets, despite my batsmen being on high aggression for the duration of the innings.

There are far too many low T20 scores in domestic. Related but even more problematic are the number of T20 innings that don't make it to halfway. 30 is a record low score irl (iirc) in T20, but in the game it happens at least once a season. And I don't believe any real-life T20 innings has failed to get to 10 overs, but this happens almost every round in the game.

Also, I could be wrong but I suspect that scores in the 120s or below (ie. 40-over scoring rates) with wickets in hand are a huge rarity in real-life - not so, as has been posted, in the game.

I have chased 200+ many times in T20 . Don't put best batsman on top together . If you have 3 good batsman . Keep one of them on top , one at number 3 And one at number 6 position .

Play your worst batsman at number 5 position . Number 5 batsman rarely plays good innings .

Also play a "Stamina" . It's fun to play a stamina batsman in 50 over games . If other batsman fails this guy will stay till the end . This batsman will play with only 3 bars in all 40 overs . Then play aggressively .

Sometimes "Stamina Batsman" scores around 50 with 120 balls after 40 overs . Then I go all out attack . And he gets around 100 with 140 balls . What a Poetic innings...

                  .
                  .

you think thats bad i limit sussex to 76 all out i only manage to get 74-5 despite having 20/20 specialist.
although 7 of my best players were either injured or on international duty.

If you've had to chase 200+ many times in T20, what on Earth are your bowlers doing?

Bowlers can't really do anything when the wicket is very poor for bowlers . Every time you see your best bowlers giving 12 runs per over remember the wicket is poor and you have a chance . You just have to stay focused .

It's still hard for me to fathom how you can concede (and chase) 200+ in Twenty20 games, because whenever I play, neither the computer (nor I) seem to score above 150.

Same with ODIs; it's a rarity to score above 300, but at least ICC 2010 lets you get closer than previous versions did.
