      2nd Match vs South Africa

      NZ Innings
      266/7(50) A Redmond 101, R Taylor 33
      A Nel 3-56, D Steyn 2-55

      SA Innings
      267/5(49.2) M Boucher 78no, J Duminy 61
      S Bond 3-44, J Oram 1-41

South Africa win by 5 wickets

A surprising innings from Redmond got us racing along early but nobody else made a good contribution. Boucher's experience saw the South Africans home with a well paced 78no. It is however good to see Bond in the wickets again.

Following poor ODI form this current season, James Franklin has been dropped for the experienced Kyle Mills. Mills is a proven performer at this level with 128 wickets @ 26.67 while Franklin's record to date is 2 wickets @ 53.50. The Aussies are unchanged since the last time I played them.

                3rd Match vs Australia

                Aus Innings
                216/9(50) M Hayden 83, M Hussey 34
                T Southee 3-44, K Mills 2-33

                NZ Innings
                217/2(47.2) A Redmond 99, P Fulton 81
                A Noffke 1-37

                NZ win by 8 wickets

Another great effort from the bowlers has seen has gain our 2nd victory over the Aussies in series with Mills, Southee and Bond all bowling exceptionally well. The result was never in doubt after a great partnership between openers Redmond and Fulton nearly saw us home. They were both cruelly dismissed close to 100 but they will be satisfied with their performance . Another good win for the boys!

                      4th Match vs South Africa

                      SA Innings
                      151(44.1) A de Villiers 42, J Duminy 23
                      S Bond 4-27, J Oram 2-24

                      NZ Innings
                      152/3(45.1) J Ryder 51no, R Taylor 43
                      D Steyn 2-30, V Philander 1-38

                      NZ win by 7 wickets

A great effort from all the bowlers has seen us beat South Africa for the first time in the tri-series. Bond and Southee set the tone with good opening spells before Mills and Oram came in and performed just as well. Another comfortable chase for the batsman and hopes are high we can win this series!

                            NZ win by 9 wickets

This match was exactly like the previous 2 matches. I won the toss and put them in on a lively but batsman friendly pitch with a fast outfield. Bond and Southee bowled well. They contained runs by taking wickets and the Aussies were on the back foot. Mills didn't perform well today and Ryder got his opportunity which he took with both hands, taking 3-31. After an early scare in the chase, Fulton and Taylor cruised home to victory with 55 balls still remaining. A fantastic win.

                                SA Innings
                                231/7 H Gibbs 63, A de Villiers 48
                                T Southee 3-46, J Oram 2-39

                                NZ Innings
                                234/7(49.4) C McMillan 77, J Oram 42
                                V Philander 2-32, A Nel 2-50

                                NZ win by 3 wickets

Its seems if one part of the team fails, another part steps up to cover that. Today the top order failed, but the middle order lead by McMillan and Oram responded fantastically. Oram had a good game all-round game while Tim Southee again set the tone with the ball. The youngster is really leading our attack well these days and full credit to him. We now play a best of 3 finals series vs Australia.
