Charlie Cassell needs added to Somerset and Scotland. RFM bowler.

Michael English could also be added to the Scotland pool. Recently scored a ton on Scotland ODI debut and is an opening bat.

George Munsey is keeping in the Canadian T20 so could be a p/t keeper.

George Thomas has been very good for Somerset so deserves an upgrade to good fringe player with big potential status rather than random ability.

Similar for Ethan Brookes at Worcs who looks a very good all rounder in the Blast this season, deserves to be decent with potential rather than random.

Harry Moore at Derbs looks a very decent prospect and generally an economic bowler in the One Day Cup this season so could be set accordingly. Also a good batter and suspect he'll be batting at 8 once he's out of his teens if not before. Bats like Chappell with the same long limbs and boundary hitting so would say he should be agg and very agg in red and white ball respectively.

Zak Chappell probably downgraded to RMF as not as fast as he used to be but been superb with the bat so could be upgraded there, one notch off a bowling all rounder these days.

BBC Leics commentator on their stream mentioned that Leicestershire have permanently signed Ian Holland now so dould be moved over.

Lewis Hill to part time keeper? Been several seasons since he kept full time.

Cox should be a better keeper than Handscomb. Currently the latter is picked by AI as keeper.

Ben Aitchison needs an injury adding, hasn't played yet this season so for up until at least the end of the one day cup I'd say.

Rishi Patel t20 opener as opened in both Blast and Hundred.

Jacob Bethell improved in t20 batting.

        Matthew Hurst decently improved.

Jack Davies improved slightly as should be Middlesex first choice keeper in all formats.

          Some general comments:
Will Sutherlands batting is massively under rated, can’t score a run in game, always batting below a lot of bowlers. Has been batting at 6/7 for Melbourne and Renegades and doing well. I feel his batting ability is fair, he might have batted up the order but his record isn't great.
Xavier Bartlett and Fergus ONeils batting is over rated Have nerfed both.
Fraser-McGurks short form cricket is under rated and should be V.Agg
Matt Kelly is over rated, he is making the test team by year 2 Have nerfed.
Tanveer Sangha is under rated Disagree his ability is fair.
Daniel Sam’s bowling is over rated and batting is under rated (more of a batting all rounder now) His abilities look fair.
Steve Smith shouldn’t be a one day opener, just test and t20 possibly
Inglis a middle order batter in short form cricket
Cam Green also a middle order batter in short form
Will Salzman under rated, third leading wicket taker in one dayers last season
Warner should be retired in everything bar T20 Retired him from Test and ODI but not 20 Over Int as he played after Apr 2024 (game date start)
Cooper Connolly needs a decent boost
Nathan Ellis has ridiculously high economy in short form cricket but decent strike rate, kind of the opposite of the actual player he is
BBL teams have had quite a few international players sign multi year deals meaning they can’t play other OS comps now such as Billing’s at Thunder (can do these as a seperate post or edit later)

Donovan Ferreira is listed as a keeper He does keep a bit.
Jansen no where near international teams by year 2 No idea why given his abilities. Not injured?

Ben Green way over rated, genuine white ball star in year 2 Has been tweaked since early builds.
Rehan Ahmed’s batting is very under, often seen batting below Archer for England, bats 6 in FC, even at 3 in T20, has scored first class hundred His ability is quite a bit better than Archer
Rishi Patel is a T20 opener, possibly needs a short form upgrade especially after the Blast
Kimber is playing in the 100 Ability is fair compared to record, had a good double this season in FC but not much else.
Lewis Hill and Handscomb are most defintely only part time keepers
Ben Cox seems unders in game Ability is fair compared to record
Sam Cook massive unders in game Strong ability, not far off international bowlers.
Sam Curran unders with bat and ball Have improved with ball, bat ability is fair.
Wull Jack unders with bat Ability is fair.
Atkinson and Turner both seem more RMF then RF Agree on Atkinson, not so sure on Turner.
          Bethell needs a massive boost
Scriven and Mike arguably over rated Mike isn't particularly highly rated. Scriven has a decent enough record with the ball for his ability.
Dan Douthwaite is amongst leading wicket takers every year, definitely overs
Critchely bowling a lot more in game then he does, has taken multiple 40 wicket seasons Not sure on this, he's not that highly rated.
Brydon Carse rubbed out for a while for gambling His ban started mid-season, he wasn't banned at the start of the season so we will leave him as is.
Alex Green should be added to Leics, Ian Holland permanently moved there too

Shai Hope now batting middle order

Indian team full of basically no name players who have variable ability each save and regens by late year 2, year 3

          EDIT
Will Pucovski is unfortunately a medical retirement

Strikers have signed Jordan Buckingham, Fabian Allen, Ollie Pope and Jamie Overton

Heat have signed Tom Alsop, Paul Walter and Colin Munro as well as Callum Vidler

Hurricanes have signed Chris Jordan, Shai Hope, Charlie Wakim and Rishad Hossain (on another note Chaudary is playing as an Australian not as a foreign player)

Renegades signed Jacob Bethell, Josh Brown, Gurinder Sandhu, Laurie Evans and Tim Siefert (Finch and Marsh retired)

Stars signed Ben Duckett, Tom Curran, Usama Mir, and Hamish McKenzie (Larkin retired)

Scorhers signed Matt Hurst, Keaton Jennings, Finn Allen and Mahli Beardman

Sixers signed Akeal Hosein, James Vince and Jafer Chohan (O’Keefe retired)

Thunder signed Wes Agar, Sam Billings, Sheridan’s Rutherford (who needs upgrading with the bat), Nic Maddinson, Lockie Ferguson

Travis Head should be V.Agg in short form, 7 power play 50s this year alone (all 20 balls and less)
          Sherfane Rutherford needs an upgrade
Ashton Agar needs a short form bowling upgrade
Achie Vaughn is a middle order batting all rounder who bowls OS
          Shoaib Bashir needs an upgrade

When is the next database update out??
Dan Mousley , Jacob Bethall and Cooper Connolly have been called up to their white ball international squads yet all three are rubbish on the game.

                County Cricket update requests

Harry Moore needs an improvement. Playing currently in the County Champ and looks a solid wicket taker. Could do with a high potential as he’s playing well and 17 and will likely get an England call up in a few years.

David Bedingham and Ollie Robinson need a boost in batting rating as they’ve been the best batsmen in the CC this year but don’t bat like it very often. Nothing wrong with either ability.

Brydon Carse is more of a bowling all-rounder and could do with an improvement in his batting. Strongly rated with the bat, now made him an all rounder.

Daniel Sams is more of a genuine all-rounder than bowling all rounder now. Which matches up with his in-game abilities.

Jamie Porter is underrated in all formats bowling, should be on par with Sam Cook but rarely ever performs like that. Their abilities are just about the same.

Dan Douthwaite is hugely overrated both with bat and ball Slightly nobbled bowling, batting is fair.
Andy Gorvin is underrated with the ball, was very useful in the One Day cup.

Gloucestershire need a general upgrade in T20 format for reaching the Quarter Finals which was unexpected. Standout examples are James Bracey, Josh Shaw and Tom Price. Sadly at the moment they just play like the David Payne/Cam Bancroft show. I've improved Hammond, Bracey, Shaw and Matt Taylor. Tom Price's bowling ability is fair (Similar to Payne)

Ian Holland is at Leicestershire permanently now.

Chris Wood needs is underrated in T20s, played a huge part for Birmingham Phoenix and should have that reflected.

Keith Barker is overrated. He's not particularly rated highly, ability is fair.

Mo Abbas is underrated; never plays like he has 700 wickets @ 20 in FC.Have improved

Tawanda Muyeye is underrated in all formats with the bat. Have improved

Matty Hurst and Rocky Flintoff need batting boost to reflect them getting picked more and playing well.

Lancashire overall though need a downgrade, they’ve underperformed in all formats across the board.

Its been said before but Lewis Hill and Pete Handscomb are part time keepers.

Josh Hull is now underrated as he did bowl decently for England and will likely do very well for Leics having got that experience.

Saif Zaib is underrated both bat and ball

Archie Vaughan is an off spinner, and a pretty decent one at that. He bats in the middle order too, not as an opener.

George Thomas is underrated with the bat, has played very well for Somerset this year and is definitely a starting XI contender.

Krish Patel has moved to Northants from Surrey

Will Jacks is hugely underrated with the bat His ability is fair.

Harrison Ward and Dan Hughes are underrated with the bat Hughes' ability is fair, I've improved Ward.

Bethell and Mousley should definitely get an overall improvement and a potential boost

                  Adelaide Strikers BBL Squad.

Josh Kann is missing along with as mentioned above Jordan Buckingham, Ollie Pope, Fabian Allen.

Ex Striker Alex Ross is also back this season.

Jamie Overton is already in the squad & up for renewal at season start, Payne & Hose not contracted for the up coming BBL season, also reading Trav Head, Henry Hunt & Ben Manenti not in the squad, Head possibly due to Test commitments.

spoke with a SACA rep yesterday, more names have been signed but no official release as yet though, will happen once the season gets closer along with a full squad.

In the Aussie FC comp I’m seeing players like Warner, Renshaw at Queensland & Western Australia.

It’s 3:25 am here in Australia, might jump on the iPad & have a better look at squads, had a tooth pulled yesterday so in a fair bit of pain, can’t sleep.

Reading through all the posts here, good to see.

Aus 20 Over squads have been updated.

Dian Forrester - Still is overrated, has crazy stats and is making the SA side
Jason Smith and Patrick Kruger - Could be boosted, are in and around the SA side
Raynard van Tonder - Shouldn't be in the SA side (the NZ series was a C team, he isn't making the man team yet)
Neil Brand - Still playing tests first year when he shouldn't be in the squad (was in the C team squad for New Zealand)
Aiden Markram - Needs a bowling boost, Bavuma and de Zorzi bowl ahead of him, should be a 6th bowling option. Should also be a 4 for OD, somehow still opens in T20I despite not being listed as one?
Ryan Rickelton - Still underrated, should be opening for ODI and T20I sides and needs a boost
Ottniel Baartman and Lizard Williams - underrated, should be in the ODI and T20I sides before guys like Swanepoel other domestic seamers (I've seen Dudgeon play ahead of them)
Quinton de Kock - Should retire from T20I
David Bedingham - Still looks underrated, never seems to perform well in game
Temba Bavuma - Shouldn't be making the T20I side and looks a bit overrated in ODI
Gerald Coetzee - Underrated, gets dropped far too quickly and potential doesn't seem high enough for him to get back in
Bjorn Fortuin - Underrated, should be 2nd best ODI spinner and 3rd in T20I (after Shamsi and Maharaj), gets dropped too quickly
Keshav Maharaj - Still underrated, gets dropped in the 2nd season

In general, there's too many random domestic players/regens that break into the side after the first season. I've seen David Bedingham get dropped for Valentine Kitime in the second season, Hanu Viljoen/Jean du Plessis leapfrogs Verreynne + Rickelton, Matthew Pollard takes over from Maharaj etc. It ruins the game when you see average domestic players or fake players be pushed through within a year or two.

Edit: Also, the new SA20 squads have been released

I’ve been playing a lot with RSA, agree with some of what you are stating & follow RSA in real life.

I’ve been using players in game that are currently playing in real life & batting them in their positions & bowling number.

Jason Smith, Patrick Kruger could use a lift, both underperforming in game, as are Bedingham & Rickelton in game.

I’ve found Baartman & Williams to be good ODI & T20 bowlers in game.

Coetzee could use a lift, but Fortuin is good in ODI & T20 in game.

Maharaj is killing it for me at the moment in Tests, 6 Tests, 48 wickets.

Found De Zorzi to be a little underwhelming.

Phehlukwayo is funnily enough on point in game compared to real life, crap in both, haha.

Also, a question in regards to RSA, I’ve seen players have South Africa U/19’s as their side, we don’t have an option to play as the U/19’s side do we? Wouldn’t have thought so, just thought it was interesting.

Also, I remember years ago we used to play against a County or State side in a tour match before a series, we don’t do they no more?

Just had a game, take back what I said about De Zorzi, just made 107, Bedingham 88 & Maharaj just took 6/70 making that 54 wickets in 7 Tests, second innings still to come.

Any news on the BBL squad release? Keen to have a look at Adelaide.

I have a lot of time on my hands at the moment, I’m not well, so I’m happy to have a look at stuff & check if things are correct in game or not.

South Australia are no longer called the Redbacks as of this season, also new OD uniforms have been released, nothing worth changing the in game uniforms for though.

Spoke with a SACA rep a couple weeks back, more names will be added to Adelaide’s BBL squad when the season gets closer, no whispers on who though.

Managed to win an ODI series as Ireland vs South Africa last night, 3-0.
