  • England under-19 player Ben Charlesworth at Gloucestershire is a batsman in game but is more of a batting all rounder so his spin bowling could do with an upgrade.

Fair point, changed in to an all-rounder.

Okay, so that Robiul I've already changed to RFM. Must have done that from e-mail feedback, as can't find any other references to Robiul in this thread.

His Test record is good, slight nerf though.
He has hardly played any matches and most of those wickets have come against West Indies and Sri Lanka.

He has a FC average of 30 and his IPL record is 49 wickets@29. Yet every save he ends with a T20I average in the mid-late teens. As Bhagwati mentioned, players like Ashwin, Lyon and Shakib should have much higher ratings.

Markande takes a few seasons to develop, but Kuldeep is a genius in all formats from the get-go! And Chahal is still nowhere to be seen!

        • I have never seen an average aggression batsman striking at 65! Never more than 55. Here is what it is really like in CC19:

          Very defensive: 30-35
          Defensive: 35-40
          Average: 45-50
          Aggressive: 55-65
          Very Aggressive: 65-80

It should be noted however batsman strikerates in summer matches differ greatly from played matches. As an example, in simmed T20s 200 gets chased down often. When playing however, that is nigh on impossible.

In the Pakistan career I played Babar finished with a Test average of 45 and a strikerate of 47.

In another save, that I didn't use him, the AI had him averaging 48 at a strikerate of 58! And I don't bat as slow as Bhagwati
It is just that simmed games have much higher scoring rates than played games.

          • While you are on the database, do you think you could finally make NZ a decent team? 2nd in test and 3rd in ODI rankings mean they are worthy.

Latham and Nicholls are both in the top ten for test batsmen IRL but their CC19 ratings do not reflect this. Nicholls is particularly garbage in game. Meanwhile Glenn Phillips is the best NZ batsman in game and, though promising, could probably use a nerf. I also think Williamson is underrated.

de Grandhomme, Ferguson and Boult are also vastly underrated in CC19. Ferguson particularly should be significantly increased so he becomes a test match spearhead for NZ. Presently the AI does not even bother using him at all!

you can see kane williamson with average aggression has strike had a S/R of 61 in 2019 & 63.5 in 2020 & babar azam 60.2 in 2020, Tamim iqbal 63.7 in 2020
              very aggressive jos butler S/R of 86 in 2019, 88.9 in 2019 & Ben Stokes 82 in 2019
              aggressive T de Bruyn S/R of 73.8 in 2020
Tom Lathan defence batsman S/R of 48.2

such high strike rates are effecting the balance of test cricket

Players like pant, butler, stokes, quinton de kock are scoring run a ball century for fun

              • these are stats for played series

yes played have somewhat less S/R than simmed games but still high enough to be accurate representation of test cricket

All these were played in india, i prepared spinning track for each match

India vs Australia 4 tests series

Australia lost 3 toss out of 4 so they batted in difficult conditions

                V Agg David Warner 79 Finch 74.3
                Avg S Smith 55 M Harris 56.5 khwaja 54.4
                Agg T Head 59.3

India vs England 5 match test series(i have only played 4 till now)

England lost the toss in 3 out of 4 tests so they batted on turning wicket most of the time still players have such high strike rate

                V Agg Stokes 77.7 Butler 84.3
Avg Agg M Leaney 63.5 Joe Root 57.1 Davies 45.4
                Agg Livingstone 68.6
                def rory burns 44.5

I don't know what they would have done if i prepared flat tracks & if Aus/Eng won most of the toss.

Charlesworth isn’t an off-spinner, bowls RM

Aye good shout he's a brisk medium pacer.

                    • Tom Smith at Gloucestershire could be a shout to be an all rounder. FC batting average of 24 and he's been playing a bit in the top order for Gloucestershire.

Chris Liddle also very much a white ball specialist.

                      • marnus labuschagne’s batting rating could do with an increase. Averages low 30’s in the game with the bat. Also tends to bowl a bit to much, maybe lower his bowling rating.
Chris lynn’s batting could do with a slight increase, he’s pretty ordinary in the game, whereas irl especially in t20 cricket he’s pretty consistent.
michell swepson’s bowling rating needs an increase, hardly ever gets picked for queensland or brisbane in the bbl.
jack edwards and jason sangha both need a slight upgrade in their batting.
lloyd pope‘s bowling needs an increase he never gets picked in the game and when you choose to play him he’s useless!

                        • Pat Brown's economy rate is set so high that he never gets picked for any limited overs teams, only test matches.

                          • Tons of stuff since last 19.4 patch both in DB changes and some bugs I think..Will we see a newpatch soon ? Guess it will have a lot of new players, new rating and perhaps some fixing here and there.
Cricket is coming to a close in the old World very soon. So it would be lovely to get something soon.

Agreed. Come on Sureshot the frothing masses demand a date for the patch!

                              • Yep, done quite a lot of work recently. New DB has plenty of significant changes. Charles has fixed one of the Android black screen issues and is working on another, he also has 64-bit working on Android now. So we're nearly there. Can't give any dates yet.

Andy has also been working on issues with the Test Match Championship, we will be reverting to a system where the same 9 teams will only be playing this tournament, to stop issues with not enough series being played. I strongly suspect the ICC will be changing the format for the next Championship tournament, based on recent comments.
