Player generation is quite a big step up this year, we've had a far better method of determining openers/middle order batsmen. I've also gone through our real players DB and removed RMF/RF/LMF/LF bowler types for part-time/no-time batsmen. Chris is looking in to this for the regens.

It's been a manic development cycle, so unfortunately not had time to do images for database threads like in previous years. Which is very frustrating. I might be able to get something out tonight for the major leagues/nations.

Any idea as to when we can see a trailer for the 17 version.

Great development from the 2016 version and I cannot wait to see the new interface.

Thanks, it's great to see so many leagues in the game now. New stats will be awesome too. Another step in the right direction.

Won't be too long before release, but will be next week. Should have screenshots finalised later this week.

Can you please explain this International versus records in detail? In the previous versions, we had individual records like highest score, best figures etc, team records like highest total, lowest totals etc, what else will be added this time around? If you can explain in detail, thanks.

We haven't added any extra support for larger resolutions this year.

These match our existing Team Records, so for Eng vs Aus you will get:

Highest Total, Lowest Total, Highest Innings, all 10 Partnerships, Best Bowling Innings and Best Bowling Match in Test, ODI and 20 over International.

Then you will get these records for every current Test team (excluding the newly announced Ireland and Afghanistan) against everyone else.

                        Edit:

Likewise with Ground Records, then if/when we add new record types in the future, they will be added to all and be consistent throughout.

There's ~12,000 lines of stats in International Versus and Ground Records.

Not for this version, only announced five days ago, so nothing like enough time to add them in and debug them. Not to mention, no announced fixtures yet and I'd be surprised if they play a Test (or more than one, anyway) before CC2018.

Looks like there might be plans for an actual test league and some structure to international cricket from 2019, which would be beneficial for new test teams and associate teams wanting to be test teams.

hey. will the leagues run alongside each other simultaneously this year, or will i only be able to see whats going on in the country i have chosen to manage in?

this an the inability to move around jobs has always been a big issue imo.

Leagues are still run separately, moving around jobs and running all leagues at once is on the cards, but is a huge job so we weren't able to do that for this year.
