Buying the Game

I saw somewhere that when you buy the game, you actually buy a code that you then enter, which allows you to play the game. Is this true and if not what actually happens when you buy it????

Yes. It is pretty standard these days for games. You buy an elicense that allows you to play the game on up to 2 PCs.
