Indian bowlers suffered till the 20th over and Ashwin bought some life to Indian bowlers by dismissing Kusal Perera for 70 off 66 lbw and SL are 199 for 1 in 20.4 overs. Indians had to wait another 10 overs for their next wicket as Angelo Perera edged Kumar to the keeper Dhoni for 70. Soon followed Chandimal for 24 clean bowled by Pathan. Vithanage's stay was a brief one as he edged one to short leg for 11. Mathews came in and walked out for 3 and He gave another catch to Dhoni off Ashwin. The stage was set to Bhanuka and Thisara to open up their shoulders in the last 10 overs and they did just that. Bhanuka fell in the 49th over for 72 off 47 bowled by Pathan.
    Sri Lanka 306 for 6 ( B Rajapaksa 72 off 47 , K Perera 70 , A Perera 62 , T Perera 47* off 37 , B Kumar 2 for 52 , I Pathan 2 for 52 )

Malinga gain got us off to a great start as he picked up Dhawan for 4 and to 1st slip had to give quite a chase backwards to catch that. Malinga got another one as Pujara edged one to the 2nd slip for 1. Mathews came into the action next over picking up Kohli for a duck lbw, India are in trouble 20 for 3.
Tiwary and Sehwag blasted out India out of trouble and eventually Sehwag fell giving a easy catch to the slips for 87 off 88 off Akila. Tiwary was out in the 42th over for a brilliant 151 off 134 ball clean bowled by Malinga. In the next over Thisara got rid of Jadeja who edged to the slips for 14. Dhoni soon followed as Malinga trapped him lbw for 1. Indian late order seems to be falling like a pack of cards here as Thisara Perera traps Ravi Ashwin lbw for 9.
After some resistance , Malinga got his 5th victim as Kulkarni charged towards Malinga and kept charging to the dressing room as the ball was caught in the slips , Kulkarni made 11, And Malinga finishes the match as Kumar charged down the track to Malinga first ball and edged it to the keeper.

A horrible start for Sri Lanka as they struggled to get away and Mathews fell for 8 off 20 edging Samantray to the keeper. Kapugedara came in next and he also struggled to settle in and eventually was stumped for 9 off Ashwin. Angelo Perera seemed settled and smashed Yusuf for 17 runs in the 13th over. Kusal Perera got out next over as he edged Jadeja to the keeper for 9. In the 16th over it was Ashwin's time to suffer as Bhanuka took him for 17 runs. Ashwin was again taken for 17 runs in the 18 over by Bhanuka and Angelo. After playing the innings of his life, Angelo Perera was finally lbw to Samantry for 82 off 51 balls. Sri Lanka tried every thing but couldn't stop the flow of runs and finally a wicket came in the 8th over , It Sehwag who's gone for 27 , edged Akila to short-leg.
Don't have to say much from then on as Sri Lankan bowlers were taken to the cleaners by Dhawan and Pujara and India won the match in 17.4 overs

Malinga got us off to a great start with getting Dhawan caught in the slips for duck in the second ball. Udana was given the ball in the 5th over and despite being expensive , he got rid of Sehwag for 21 off 14 caught in short-leg. Kohli failed to bother the score much and got dismissed for 2 off Rambukeweela's bowling giving a catch to the gully. Mendis came in to the attack in the 14th over and straight away removed Tiwary for 9 caught by the leg-slip. Then Jadeja and Pujara opened their shoulders fiercely attacking SL bowlers before Malinga trapped Jadeja lbw for 19. After making his Maiden T20I Century , Mendis removed him caught in the slips for 101 off 63.
          India 167 for 6 ( C Pujara 101 off 63 , V Sehwag 21 , A Mendis 2 for 19 from 2 overs , Malinga 2 for 36 )

Angelo Perera failed to repeat his performances from yesterday as he was clean bowled for 12 by Kumar. Mowjood played well for his 33 but struggled against spin and eventually was trapped lbw to Samantray. After hitting a six off the first ball Bhanuka was out in the same over clean bowled by Samantray for 10. Soon Mathews was trapped lbw for 37 to Samantray and It seems all hopes are lost for Sri Lanka. And , Thisara goes first ball , clean bowled by Samantray. In the next over , Ashwin got in to action by trapping Rambukwella lbw for 4. Udana showed that he's no muck with the bat as he smashed Samantray for 3 sixers in the 17th over. Incredible stuff , Udana and Perera takes Ashwin for 15 in the 18th over. 10 runs in the 19th over.

Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to Bowl

                Day 1

Pakistan had no trouble countering the strong Sri Lankan seam attack under cloudy condition as they opened their shoulder and played strokes freely. But soon as the spinners were on at tht 19th over, Pakistan started struggling and the first wicket fell as I Butt edged Kaushal to the keeper for 43. Umar Akmal used his feet well and attacked the spinners and that gave Zaman the confidence too but just after the lunch break he lost his concentration and was trapped lbw to Akila for 47. Rizwan didn't seemed comfortable at all and fell lbw to Kaushal for 7. After a few overs Kaushal got in to the action again and removed the senior man Akmal for 39 caught by the keeper and Pakistan are 152 for 4. Kaushal was unstoppable as he picked up Sohail as his 4th wicket for 24. I bought the pacers back and they were successful at last , Kasun picked up senior man Younis Khan caught behind for 17. Then Jayampathi got into the action removing Shafiq for 46 caught in the second slip and just after the tea break he picked up J Kahn for 1 caught in the short-leg. Bhatti coudn't resist Jayampathi and was clean bowled for 7. And fittingly he finished off the innings by picking up M Ali for 3 lbw.
                Pakistan 247 all out ( F Zaman 47 , A Shafiq 46 , I Butt 43 , U Akmal 39 , H Sohail 24 , C Jayampathi 4 for 41 , T Kaushal 4 for 74 )

A horrible start for us as Junaid Khan rattled Dimuth's stumps for 1. In-Form Sangakkara was soon out for 19 edging to the 2nd slip off M Ali.

                Day 2

Day started with two buddies Lahiru and Dinesh occupying the crease. Lahiru played well again but just when he was nearing the milesone of 100 , He got stumped for 87 off Zaman. Dinesh too fell one run short of his 50 lbw to R Ali. Kaushal Silva again got unlucky as he looked to steer Shafiq down to 3rd man but a brilliant catch by the 2nd slip meant that he had to walk back to the dressing room for 31. Just after the tea break , Serasinghe decided to go on the aggressive mood played some glorius back foot drives and slashes over cover before being trapped lbw to R Ali for 49. With 26 minutes to the close of the day , Jayampathi got lbw to Bhatti for 14. and soon followed mathews for 44 trapped lbw to Bhatti. Akila didn't show any resistance as he was clean bowled by M Ali for a duck. The last wicket to fell was Kaushal as he as lbw to the off-spinner Zaman for 2.
                Sri Lanka 310 all out ( L Thirimanne 87 , D Chandimal 49 , S Serasinghe 49 , A Mathews 44 , K Silva 31 , F Zaman 2 for 11 , M Ali 2 for 44 , R Ali 2 for 54 , B Bhatti 2 for 81 )

                Day 3

Pakistan opener Zaman started thing very aggressively scoring a quick-fire 46 off 49 before edging Kasun to short-leg. Jayampathi needed rest and he was taken out of the attack but I decided to give Kasun one more over and It worked , Akmal went for 9 giving another catch to short-leg. Butt have been very patient but was helpless against wicket hungry Akila as he edged one to the gully. It only took 8 overs to Kauhsal to get into action as he clean bowled Sohail for 15 and followed up with dismissing Shafiq for 2 caught by leg-slip. Then Rizwan and Younis Khan steadied Pakistan with a partnership of 84. Just after the lunch break , I switched to my pacers and straight away Kasun got Rizwan for 74 caught in the 1st slip. Rain interrupted the play.

                Day 4

It was all about Bhatti and Khan before Akila Dismissed Bhatti for 46 caught in the gully. That was the breakthrough needed as Kaushal got another dismissing Junaid Khan for 2 , lbw. Younis Khan fell 10 short of a well deserved century edging one to short-leg off Akila. After some struggling , M Ali was finally dismissed by Akila for 6 , caught by the gully.
                Pakistan 323 all out ( Y Khan 90 off 244 , M Rizwan 74 , F Zaman 46 off 49 , B Bhatti 46 , I Butt 21 , A Dananjaya 4 for 85 , K Madushanka 3 for 76 , T Kaushal 3 for 89 )

The hero in the first innings fell early as Lahiru was trapped lbw for 9 to Junaid. R Ali struck an another crucial blow as Dimuth walked back to the dressing room after edging one to the slips for 39. Mayhem for SL as Sanga departs after edging one to short-leg for 11 off M Ali and SL are 51 for 3. Kaushal Silva played beautiful strokes as he usually do but departed for 24 , trapped lbw to R Ali. Sri Lanka ends the day at 105 for 4.

                Day 5

Chandi and Angi played marvelously but Chandi was dismissed in the last bowl before the Lunch break, lbw to Junaid for 47 off 175 balls. Bhatti bought Pakistan back in to the match by claiming the wicket of Mathews for 64 off 215 caught behind. A lot depended on Jayampathi but he failed as he walked back to the dressing room for 2 , caught behind off M Ali. Our last hope of wining was shattered when Serasinghe was trapped lbw for 33 to Khan. Akila was clean bowled by R Ali for 6 and Pakistan are nearly there. As everyone expected , Kaushal didn't perform any miracles as he was plumb in front to R Ali for a duck.
                Sri Lanka 233 all out ( A Mathews 64 off 215 , D Chandimal 47 off 175 , S Serasinghe 33 off 103 , K Silva 24 , R Ali 4 for 56 , J Khan 3 for 51 , M Ali 2 for 50 )

                Pakistan win by 27 runs
