Im not big for putting up screenshots so ill type it all clearly and readable!

    Champions Trophey
    Match 1 v England

    Selected Team:
    Wade
    Warner
    Watson
    Clarke (C)
    Hughes
    Smith
    Maxwell
    Agar
    Starc
    C-Nile
    McDermott

3 Debutants is a big ask for any team with Agar, C-Nile & McDermott all playing their first games.

We lost the toss and got sent in to bat, Warner and Wade had a nice partnership of 48 off 4.4 overs before Wade was dismissed for 9. Then came an amazing partnership between Watson and Warner who got the score to 255 off 40.3 overs before Watson was C&B by Brensen for 97 off 114 balls... with the dangerous Davey Warner still smashing balls around the ground anything is possible with this score. The skipper has joined Warner at the crease for a quick 30 run partnership in 4 overs before Davey was dismissed for 159 off 135 balls... realizing that there is only 5 overs to go we have promoted Glenn Maxwell up the order to unleash hell on the bowlers, which he did for 2 balls before running himself out for 5. Steve Smith in next and only managed 6 off 4 but losing wickets at this stage isnt important as the lads are just on full aggression trying to get as many quick runs as possible. Phil Hughes came to the crease then Clarke left it making 26 (22) with the score on 6/313 off 47.3 we are looking at over 330. Agar walks out to the middle, and walks back in for 2. Starc & Hughes both finished on 5 not out.
    Australia 7/324

So the Poms think they can chase down a target now have a point to prove, we wouldnt have thought they expected to chase this target down.

McDermott & C-Nile took the new ball and coped a bit of stick early before C-Nile took the prized wicket of Bell, then Trott had a brain fade and ran himself out. Starc came on and instantly got Root, while Watson was coping a bit of stick from Cook who is loooking dangerous. The ball got thrown to the spin twins in Agar & Maxwell who both bowled 10 overs each on the trott
    Agar 10 overs 2 mdns 3/70
    Maxwell 10 overs 1mdns 1/79
although both got hit around abit it was good for their confidence to take wickets.
Starc came back on and finished up the innings bowling England out for 297 off 46.3 overs

    McDermott 0/37 (7)
    C-Nile 2/36 (8)
    Starc 2/25 (6.5)
    Watson 0/50 (5) - SPANKED!!
    Agar 2/70 (10)
    Maxwell 1/76 (10)

    Australia Win by 27 Runs!

    MOM
    D.Warner for 159 Runs

      Champions Trophey
      Match 2 v New Zealand

Thinking of the Lower Order hitting, Phil Hughes has been Dropped and Aaron Finch has been put in.

      Wade
      Warner
      Watson
      Clarke (c)
      Smith
      Finch
      Maxwell
      Agar
      Stac
      C-Nile
      McDermott

Big test to see if we can repeat our last preformance!

Another loss of the toss means we will be BOWLING first this match a different test to the last match.
Opened up again with McDermott & C-Nile. 14 overs in we have NZ 3/62 with McDermott claiming 2 early wickets, C-Nile 1!
Stac & Maxwell bowled the next few overs keeping it nice and tight, then we through the ball to Ashton Agar who bowled nicely for 0/56 (10)

      McDermott 2/49 (9)
      C-Nile 1/61 (10)
      Starc 1/36 (8)
      Maxwell 1/31 (10)
      Agar 0/56 (10)
      Watson 0/16 (3)

New Zealand finished their Innings at 5/249 which is very good by our bowlers not letting them hit out at the end!

In comes Wade & Warner again but Warner couldnt repeat his form from last match making just 5.
Watson & Wade looked settled before Watson was trapped LBW for 17. Clarke made a quick fire 19, but with the score currently 3/77 off 14 it was time to just settle the innings down so Smith came in and was determined to settle it down but Wade edged one through to 1st slip and was dismissed for a well made 32 off 41.
Now remembering we had put Finch in as a pinch hitter he was given the chance to prove that he is much more than that, which he did, and working with Smith got the score to 211 when Smith departed for 59. With Finch holding his weight Maxwell came in and the team needed to make 39 more runs at a run a ball to win the match. Maxwell was dismissed for 19 (15) with the team still needing 12 off 11 balls.
Agar the kid in his second game had a big roll to stay with Finchy and see the team home.
An Amazing end to the game with 2 runs needed off the final ball for Victory and Aaron Finch on strike, he managed to smash an off drive through a diving fielder to the boundary for 4!!!

Finch finished on 84 (111) and Agar 3 (6) saw us get the 6/252 winning by 4 wickets

      MOM
Aaron Finch for his 84 not out

With Australia guaranteed a semi finals birth in the Champions Trophey we have decided to change the team up a bit.

        Champions Trophey
        Match 3 v Sri Lanka

M Marsh & Faulkner have come in for Starc & Watson just giving them a rest.

        Lineup:
        Wade
        Warner
        Smith
        Clarke (c)
        M Marsh
        Finch
        Maxwell
        Faulkner
        Agar
        C-Nile
        McDermott

Finally winning the toss we have elected to BAT first.
Warner went in the first over for 1. Smith made a handy 21 before Malinga got his 2nd victim of the innings. Clarke was run out for a Diamond Duck after he stupidly called for a run, took on the fielder and lost. Current score 3/42 (7.2) Mitch Marsh fell with the score at 4/60 making 14 (10). The stage is set for Finch to repeat his efforts of last game. Wade left the ground after being dismissed for a well made 33. but the team is in all sorts at 5/82. Big chance for some of the young guys in the tail to put a score on the board that the bowlers can defend.
Maxwell made a nice 41 after a nice partnership with Finch who again is looking the goods. Finch was dismissed after making his 2nd half century in 2 games (55) the score currently on 7/178 off 34.
Agar ran out for 27. C-Nile 8 and Faulkner 30 were the last 3 wickets. McDermott showed how easy batting is facing 2 balls and dispatching them both to the boundary for 8 (2)

        Australia 10/ 246 off 48 overs.

Now with the score being one we can defend we decided to throw McDermott and Maxwell the new ball...
McDermott got the Dangerous Dilshan early, and snagging Matthews before finishing a tight 7 over spell.
C-Nile and Faulkner took the ball with Faulkners 2nd ball trapping Sangakarra LBW, before following up an over later with Thirmaine getting clean bowled, however, he is going at 6 an over, but C-Nile has bowled 5 overs 0/7 (5).
Faulkner handed the ball over to Agar who snagged Chimindal 4th ball. C-Nile got tired at 8 overs so we decided to save him for the end and threw it back to McDermott to work in tandom with AGAR.
McDermott bowled exceptionally well, as did AGAR who both finished with 4 wickets a piece

        Sri Lanka 10/147 (37)
        McDermott 4/34 (10)
        Maxwell 0/29 (7)
        C-Nile 0/48 (9)
        Faulkner 2/30 (5)
        Agar 4/32 (6)

        Australia win by 72 Runs

        MOM
        Ashton Agar
        4/32 (6) & 27 runs

          Champions Trophey
          1st Semi Final
          V South Africa

Big test for the young Australian Team facing the might of South Africa.

          LineUp:
          Wade
          Warner
          Watson
          Clarke (c)
          Smith
          Finch
          Maxwell
          Faulkner
          Agar
          Starc
          McDermott

In came Watson & Starc for C-Nile & M Marsh.

We have won the toss for the 2nd match in a row, and decided to bat again.

Warner again failed with the bat going for 2, Wade made a solid 25 before being dismissed also. Clarkes horrid run continued with a less than impressive 17. Watson was dismissed for 54, but with the score 4/108 it looks like another Finch innings is required. Unfortunalty he could only get 21, however Smith is batting along nicely, the score is 8/162 off 39 overs will provied a chance for Maxwell to have a bit of a slog fest and get this score up around the 240 mark.
However, his 7 ball innings only provided 10 runs so the tail is going to have to wag here.

Faulkner (27) Agar (7) Stac (7*) McDermott (8*) all helped Steve Smith (82) get the score to 9/267 which is very defendable.

We decided to give the new ball to McDermott again as he is providing the wickets we need, but Stac got his chance to show wat he has with the new pill.
however, with the run rate skyrocketing and no wickets falling after the first 8 overs we had to mix it up.
Maxwell and Agar bowled well for the next 14 overs with both getting a wicket each and going at around a run a ball.
We took a risk and threw Watson the ball which he provided some vital wickets, unfortunatly we lost the game going down by 2 wickets with 2 overs in hand.

          McDermott 0/22 (4)
          Starc 1/59 (8.1)
          Maxwell 1/41 (8)
          Agar 1/51 (10)
          Faulkner 0/43 (8)
          Watson 4/49 (10)

          MOM
          Shane Watson
          4/49 (10) & 54

            Pattinson (vc)
            Bird
            Sayers

A few new names in Test Arena let alone the International Circuit.
Sayers & Burns getting selected on previous season form.

Big News is that Shane Watson, Matthew Wade & Brad Haddin have all been overlooked for the Vice Captain role on the Tour with James Pattinson being selected as the Teams Vice Captian. The team are continuing to work with the younger brigade as well as the experienced campaigners to provide a strong culture within the team!
