Another big win. We batted first and thanks to excellent innings from Jesse Ryder and Ross Taylor we managed 417. When we bowled Daniel Vettori and Neil Wagner knocked them over in both innings and we comfortably knocked off the target by 9 wickets. We haven't lost a game on tour which is no mean feat.

Batting Award: Jesse Ryder, played extremely well

Bowling Award: Daniel Vettori, 8 wickets to go with some good batting

    Series Awards:
Batting Award: Ross Taylor, good tour for him.

Bowling Award: Neil Wagner, consistent with the ball, handy with the bat.

The 1st XI came back and produced an absolute drubbing. NZ batted first and thanks to 90s from De Grandhomme and Williamson they reached 9-379 but a last wicket partnership between Wagner (64no) and Bracewell (46) propelled them to 470. From then on it was all NZ with Henry and Wagner knocking over WI batsman and eventually leading NZ to an innings and 50 run victory.

Batting Award: Colin De Grandhomme, showed he could play Test Match Cricket, also a decent 5th bowler if needed.

Bowling Award: Matt Henry, 7 wickets in the match, what can I say

In this match I rested the full strength team and played the second string team. They bowled well but when it came to batting they were terrible with only De Grandhomme providing any resistance. The 2nd time round they were a bit better but I hope this doesn't happen in the tests.

Batting Award: Colin De Grandhomme, good innings under pressure

Bowling Award: Doug Bracewell, had them on the back foot

We completed the whitewash of the WI with a comprehensive 8 wicket victory. Doug Bracewell and Tarun Nethula got a combined 6-59 of 18.4 overs and Matt Henry was as economical as ever. They only managed 170.

In reply the blackcaps knocked of the target with nearly 20 overs to spare with Steve Murdoch getting 72.

Batting Award: Stephen Murdoch, he looks like a good prospect

Bowling Award: Doug Bracewell, how good does it get.

    Series Awards

Batting Award: Ross Taylor, 232 runs @77 says it all

Bowling Award: Doug Bracewell, 14 wickets and looks to be a good prospect.

Another win for us. Only one change as Murdoch comes in for Brownlie to open the innings and McCullum moves down to 6. We bowled and got the tonk a bit as WI finished on 279. Wagner got 3 wickets.

In reply NZ went at just under 6 an over to the victory target a run a ball 88 from Murdoch and a run a ball 105 from Jesse Ryder. NZ Won By 6 Wickets.

Batting Award: Stephen Murdoch, great knock on debut

Bowling Award: Neil Wagner, a fantastic start to his career.

This match went right down to the wire. Martin Guptill made a splendid century but no one else fired as we were bowled out for 220. Then Doug Bracewell bowled an awesome spell to put the WI on the back foot and with 57 required with 1 wicket in hand they looked down and out but Nikita Miller and Jerome Taylor but on 38. It shaped to be a thriller as Ross Taylor threw the ball to the inexperienced Wagner but the gamble payed of with Wagner bowling Taylor to hand NZ a 19 run victory and the series.

Batting Award: Martin Guptill, solid when others failed

Bowling Award: Doug Bracewell, set up the match for us

A drubbing here as NZ batted 1st and scored 264 riding on the back of a Ross Taylor 92. When they came to bowl they just owned the match with Matt Henry going at under 3 an over and James Franklin and Doug Bracewell getting wickets at the other end. Well done Black Caps. NZ lead 2-0 with 3 to play.

Batting Award: Ross Taylor, he is playing very well for me

Bowling Award: Matt Henry, he kept one end tight while wickets fell at the other end.

New Zealand played the West Indies in the 1st ODI and won comfortably. They got of to a great start with debutant Matt Henry removing Chris Gayle of the first ball of the match. WI never really recovered with Henry, Franklin and Bracewell all bowling extremely well. They were restricted to 202. We chased it down with 5 overs to spare and Ross Taylor finished unbeaten on 80. A comfortable 7 wicket win to us.

Batting Award: Ross Taylor, Captains Knock

Bowling Award: Matt Henry, promising start for the debutant

In this match we again bowled first with a bowler friendly pitch. Only 1 change dropping Franklin for Southee citing the pitch for reasons. Gayle played a typical innings managing 88 but we managed to restrict WI to 152. Bracewell was economical.

When we batted we got off to a good start and the game just slipped further away from WI and we won by 6 wickets.

Batting Award: Jesse Ryder, played a mature innings after a few wickets fell

Bowling Award: Doug Bracewell, under 6 for an economy rate and got the wicket of Barath too.

    Series Awards:

Batting Award: Jesse Ryder, played well in both games

Bowling Award: Doug Bracewell, best bowler by far. Definitely a prospect for the future.

Good 1st International match as we gave the Windies an absolute drubbing. We won the toss and bowled and they got of to a slow start but when Bracewell came on the wickets fell. Despite some lower order resistance they were restricted to 119. Then NZ began positively and chipped of a major portion of the total before McCullum and Taylor fell in quick succession. NZ decided to play it safe from then on and won comfortably by 8 wickets.

Batting Award: Martin Guptill, played quite aggressive but then maturely played it safe to win us the match.

Bowling Award: Doug Bracewell, set up the win for us with 4 cheap wickets.
