Help Requested - Game running incredibly slow.

Hey guys,

This has been happening for a few weeks now, and I'm not sure why. I start the game, it runs fine for about 10 minutes then slows up to a crawl, taking an eternity to progress even one over in the game.

I've ran a full virus scan, defragged, disc clean-up, system tune-up. Nothing helped. I have over 200GB free on this HD, running Windows 7 Home Premium, with 4GB of Ram on a 64-bit system.

Anything I can do to get it back to normal? Cause if not I can't see myself playing this game much longer. It's a shame, I've been playing for 10 years now.

It only runs slow during this game. FM12 runs without a hitch as do any movies or any other game.

ICC works fine for me although it constantly uses about 100% of the CPU. FM12 works awful for me because it requires more RAM than I've got (but probably not as much CPU). Have you checked in Task Manager whether anything else (eg. browser, anti-virus, but could be anything) is competing with ICC for CPU? That's the only way I can see that ICC could have a problem when FM12 doesn't.
