Is there anyway to view players abilities on the game? If so how? So then it's easy to see who will be flops and who will not, every season I always manage to buy players who seem good but then are just useless.

No there is no such feature from where u can check but the tip is to buy players averaging above or near 50 from youth and they will perform for u in county season (most of them will) from what i have tried till now same is the case for good bowlers ..
Play Them more and they will turn out to be good in future !!

Yeah thanks for the tip, I've seen that before, would be better if you could view it but next time I go to buy players I'll make sure I get 2-3 youngsters and blend them into the team, great tip thanks

If you can get a working scout you can see everyones ability. Then you can just find that player. The hard part is finding the scoutComment
