Afternoon,
We've released our second patch. As ever, press Internet Game and follow the instructions. You may need to Run As Administrator (which can be accessed by right-clicking on the game shortcut, not applicable to XP, you'll need an Admin account for XP).
If you have one of those lovely super aggressive firewalls you will need to disable that as well, if it has a zone setting, turn them to Off just for whilst it's patching, that might help.
If you've got a problem with the patch stalling:
1) Anti-virus/Firewall software – You should disable these if you are having problems with the patching process.
2) Very important - whilst downloading ICC if running in a window it MUST have focus otherwise the download will fail. Users should not switch to other programs. This is also the same when playing on-line. When playing on-line it is actually recommended to play full screen.
3) If a download attempt fails you must fully exit ICC and ideally delete the partially downloaded file before retrying.
4) Firewalls must allow access to port 2281.
You can of course also just uninstall the game and re-install with the new version. Saved games and fields can be backed up from here:
Windows 98/XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[USER NAME]\Application Data\Childish Things\International Cricket Captain 2011
Window Vista/7: C:\Users\[USER NAME]\AppData\Roaming\Childish Things\International Cricket Captain 2011

Fixed new ball AI for occasional bowlers.
Fixed invalid on-line teams.
Run rate engine improved for spinners.
Bug fix for lobby inactivity timeout.
Fixed online connection problems when exchanging squad details.
Improved AI bowling length tactics.
Added display of out-of-sync errors to on-line ladder.
Test squad selection improved for home tests injury substitutions.
Corrected county champ division when selecting team for new game.
Fixed forced 2nd keeper selection for large squads.
Power-play: AI now has correct field restrictions from 1st over.
Accept Australian captaincy in 2014 bug fix.
T20 International ties treated correctly.
