I'm playing as Sri Lanka in a 5 ODI series against Australia. We lost the first two games comfortably (7 wickets and 5 wickets). Going into the third, I won the toss and put the Aussies to field. Phil Jacques made a good century, but the bigger story was Ajantha Mendis claiming a hat-trick (and almost getting another WWW), and finishing with 7 wickets.
Australia struggled to 242/9. Target 243, 4.8 runs an over needed, not too bad.
By the end of the 10th over, we were 28/2. By the 21st, we were 77 all out.
SEVENTY-SEVEN. ALL OUT.
Lost by 166 runs. Or something, I don't know.
This is revenge for me whitewashing Australia 5-0 earlier in the game.
I need a hug.
