    I'm glad he worked out for you batting-wise. But these are only two Tests, and against Bangladesh. I'm just saying the conventional wisdom would be for Kieswetter to come in at 5 or 6, and 'work his way up' to opening over a series or two. Of course I realize that wasn't possible with that twelve and with Strauss injured.

    As for Bresnan, I personally don't mind interesting selection decisions (within reason). But the pundits will be saying - and I can't argue - that he's not sufficiently proven with the bat for number 7 (at Test level). Therefore he was my guess for 12th man. I could also have guessed Finn or Broad (with Bresnan batting at 9).

    All very thought-provoking stuff, so I'm enjoying it. KUTGW!
