ICC10 looks really impressive. I think, if we all understand the budget, time, and people restrictions that Childish Things have, and set our standards and requirements accordingly, I'm 100% sure everyone will be blown away by the improvements.
It is so much more realistic than 09, and a big big improvement.
The cost, I believe, is 15.99 English Pounds (Sureshot mentioned this a while ago), so that's just a pound more, which is very impressive.
And as for Hughesy, I think he's been tweaked to be much more realistic. I guess time can only tell whether he needs more tweaking. But definitely won't be averaging 100's across all three formats, can guarantee that.
The Australian Domestic Comp is absolutely brilliant! Almost better than the English County!
Can't wait to play the whole game and get into the seasons! The Cult Of Personality

Really looking forward to playing the Australian Domestic Comp, will prolly run 2 saves, one as aussies and one as the english.
the overseas player stuff looks great, so many times I got burned by my player having internatiuonal duty all season! and at just over $30 aussie its a bargain (if that is the price)

Got a good month to get into it and play as much as possible, before I begin the worst decision of my life.....going back to Uni.
What am I thinking....honestly??

Just to jump in here about multi-talented players, I think the best way to decide is to look at the players stats.
As a Derbyshire member, I will discuss Garry Park. Its ridiculous to call him a wicket keeper, because in T20 last year he was Derbyshire's best bowler. Even yesterday at Yorkshire, he was down to bat at 8 or 9, and in as a specialist bowler.
Also last year, when Jamie Pipe was injured, Derbyshire chose to play Freddie Klokker, which I find it hard to believe they would have done had Park been able to keep wicket in any capacity.
An unrelated question, will it be possible to sign players mid-season. For example, since April, Derbyshire have signed Wes Durston and Charl Langeveldt. Will this be possible in game?

Haha let's hope not.Originally posted by Chewie View PostVery much looking forward to this game
Expect a huge post from me detailing all player mistakes I find
I'm pretty sure we got as many as we could.
There is one that I know, if it hasn't changed from ICC09, would need to be fixed.
Let's see if you pick it up

Zimbabwe won't be playable in ICC10. They still have not re-claimed their full ICC status, so it wouldn't make sense from a gameplay/Regen point of view, to play as them.Originally posted by Cymro View PostHere's hoping Zimbabwe are once again playable.
At this stage, they're only playing a handful of ODI's per year and will gradually increase that.
I don't think they will be playing Test Cricket in the near future, although things are definitely on the way up, which is great to see.The Cult Of Personality
