  • No Ball

Has anybody else had an opponent "retired hurt" off a no ball and then they continue to play, the screen came up with "fall of wicket" and everything but no new batsmen came in and the part of the screen where the new batsman's name should be was left blank . . .oddly enough i got the same batsman out a few overs later.

not complaining i understand there will be glitches , although this was bizzare

also i had a stumping turned down because of a no ball , i always thought you can still be stumped off a no ball?

I've heard of that bug before I think.

You can not be stumped off a no ball. You can only be run out. I remember in the last year or so a situation where Collingwood was facing a spinner he took a step forward missed the ball then looked to start running, after one step he thought better turned round and saw the keeper take the bails off. The umpire called a no ball, then gave him out. Collingwood pointed out that he couldn't be stumped off a no ball but the umpire determined he'd been run out.
