It's should work on Windows 7 . Upgrade if you have Vista . Windows 7 is faster than Vista .If you are using XP two words for you- DON'T UPGRADE .
For more information-
Make your choice .

I'm glad no one has had any problems yet (nothing on here or on e-mail).
I love not having a crowded taskbar, everything is tabbed, which makes it brilliant if you want about 10 explorer windows open, and you have a little icon on the taskbar, click it once and you can highlight each window you have open.
I'd recommend it to anyone. It'll get better too, as it's still in early release stage. I could now use a McDonald's phrase, but I don't want to get sued.

Windows 7
If I were to buy a laptop with Vista Business in the next month or two, am I right in thinking I would be eligible for an upgrade to Windows 7 once that comes out?
Ive had a look round the CCL website, but I couldnt find any info. Can someone please confirm this, and if so how this would work?
Thanks in advance for your time.
Im thinking specifically of the Samsung NP-R509-FA03UK, CCL number NOT4679

When I say- "Windows XP is better than Windows 7" . I don't talk about the design . Yes Windows 7 is better in design .
But Windows 7 is a wrong choice for gamers . Windows XP can play 100% PC games . But If anyone wants to try Windows 7 , Create a new partition and Install it there . Don't upgrade XP .
I don't think Windows 7 can run ALL VERSIONS of these PC Games-
Assassins Creed
Battlefield 2
Championship Manager
Chessmaster (All versions)
Cricket (All versions EA Sports)
Cricket Coach (All versions)
Cricket Revolution
Doom
Dangerous Dave
Extreme Warfare Revenge (All versions)
Far Cry (All versions)
FIFA (All versions)
FIFA Manager (All versions EA Sports)
Football Manager (All versions)
Grand Theft Auto (All versions)
Hitman
International Cricket Captain (All versions)
Jurassic Park (All versions)
King of Fighters (All versions)
Leisure Suit Larry
Mortal Kombat (All versions)
Moto GP
Need for Speed (All versions)
ObSecure
Planet Alcatraz
Quantum of Solace
Rise of Legends
Red Alert 3
Resident Evil ( 1 to 5 )
Road Rash (All versions)
SIMS (All versions)
Spell Force 2 (All versions)
Street Fighters (All versions)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (All versions)
Unreal Tournament
Virtua Cop
WWE RAW (All versions)
Wrestling Empire (All versions)
X-Files
Yamaha Supercross
Zoo Tycoon

Lots of the games you've listed are actually supported by 7. Also, many games that aren't supported do work. For example, ICC 2009 obviously works, as does FM 2010, and as will most new games. Basically, you're suggesting, possibly rightly, that, as a new console is released, it is still better to have the previous one until the game collection on each is similar.

Just to confirm Cricket Coach does in fact work on Windows 7.
As for whether to upgrade. I would say absolutely definitely. Windows 7 is all the best things from XP and Vista pulled together minus all the bad stuff, it's pretty much the best thing I think Microsoft has ever done. I even like the adverts this time.
Only stick with XP if your PC is circa 2000/2001 and you lack memory/hard disk space and are very happy with your setup.
