He is currently 14 years of age and in-game devs made him 17 dude thats 3 years of gap

The game code is designed to stop players to young from being added to the game, mostly this is to stop typing mistakes by us, rather than actual ages. Looking online there seems to be some controversy over his actual age.

To be fair his age in the game should also be 14 as all the cricket websites like Cricinfo have the same age mentioned.

The rumours online that he is of a higher age are still not proven. So I don't see why his age should be increased in the game.

Just to add similar rumours have been said about Rashid Khan as well but the game considers his age as what has been mentioned on cricket websites.

Its a shame, I kind of wanted to run an experiement to see just how many games he could play and how many runs since hes is so young

My guess would be it's not changed - if he is younger, I believe he would have to be removed; similar to Odegaard not being included on Football Manager until his parents gave permission to do so.

A solution could be to set him as 14 and then fake name him. Easily resolved by players but keeps devs free from hassle.

Curious wasn't there a mod or something in with you could edit players birthdays, if there is then using that can help give players their correct birthdays

I think this needs to be sorted quite quickly. Great suggestion above putting him as a fake name. I would say 99% of CC players will be keeping an eye on him as either an overseas, or as a India coach. Completely disagree with the comment about debates over his age. You should take cricinfo as a source of reliability.
