Ross Whiteley is on a 2 year deal and Pat Brown is on a 3 year one

Colin Ackermann should probably be changed to average aggression in FC's with his strike rates being 52.50 in 2022 & 56.88 in 2023
Bas de Leede needs to be changed to very aggressive in FCs. He has a career strike rate of 59.36 (alongside an average of 51.14 with 1 century & 3 50's) from 9 FCs which includes his FC debut for Netherlands just after turning 18. However if that debut FC game (coming 5 and a half years before his 2nd FC game which was for Durham) is removed then his strike rate jumps to 65.13.
Ben Raine should be changed to aggressive (or at the very least average aggression) in FCs. He's been striking at 52 for both 2021 & 2022 but at 61 for 2023 and 67.89 for this season so far. His average has been 26 for all of those seasons (except for this season which is currently 50.75)
Callum Parkinson is on a 3 year deal rather than 1

Robin Das should possibly be changed to an opener in all formats having opened in the RLODC as well as batting as an opener in the 2nd XI FCs & T20s, while in the 1st XI he often bats at 3 and occasionally as opener too.
Noah Thain is a RFM and an all-rounder who's been tipped for great things.
Adam Rossington should be down as injured (fractured finger in the very 1st game) and hasn't returned yet. Pepper has been the main keeper for Essex this season as a result.
Jamal Richards from what ive seen of him is a RMF
              Ben Allison is seemingly missing

Craig Miles & Mason Crane are both only on loan at Glamorgan.

Toby Albert is not a keeper & should be either a bat or v occ wk. From what I remember, he's not kept since the U15s
Ben Brown is a SLA rather than a RM. Should also be retired from T20s if not already

Mohammad Abbas should be down as retired from LAs if he's not already (last played in Jan 2021) & should be hugely downgraded in light of both his stats as well as it being his first T20s in over 3 years. In CC23 I noticed he was very underrated in FCs but massively overrated in LO's

              Sam Billings is a LB
Charlie Stobo should possibly be made an main overseas as he'll be at the club from tomorrow until the 16th of September.

Tom Aspinwall is a RFM bowling all-rounder rather than a keeper

Ben Green is only at Leicestershire on loan from Somerset
Ben Cox is still very underrated in the game it seems as Lewis Hill is now ahead of him in the keeping queue and Cox isn't in the XI, like how it was with him & Roderick in previous editions of CC
Scott Currie is only on loan from Hampshire

Josh De Caires should be an all-rounder not just a batsman, was one of the best spinners in English cricket last season statistically in either division
Nathan Fernandes needs to be an opener in FCs & LA's (although not T20s where he was a frontline spinner last season)
              Ishaan Kaushal is a pacer
Max Harris should be a free agent. Also a very attacking all-rounder (although very inconsistent with bat & ball)

Justin Broad & Gus Miller should be all-rounders even if statistically they haven't shown it yet. Broad has bowled in 7 of his 8 FC matches, 3 of his 6 LAs & 10 of his 15 T20s (including 4 of his 6 for Northants). Broad should also be an all-format opener, having opened in his recent FC's in addition to batting at 3 in the RLODC and having opened in some T20s (especially for Germany). Miller hasn't bowled much professionally but has always been a regular all-rounder in the 2nd XI, while still batting in the top-order.

Haseeb Hameed looks very underrated it seems based of him not being in the blue
Ben Duckett should also only be an occasional keeper, don't think he's ever kept once for Notts in any format since joining them 5 years ago
Ben Martindale opens in the longer formats (especially in FCs)
Fazal Haque should probably be changed to Fazalhaq Farooqi as he's much more commonly known this way

Will Smeed needs to be retired from FC's (even if not Tests). Was also very underrated imo in CC23
Tom Banton bowls right arm offspin, there's videos online as well.

Dan Lawrence is on a 3 year deal rather than a 1 year one.
Ryan Patel should be changed to defensive in FC's, he had a strike rate of 51.80 in 2022 (in addition to an average of 35.95) and 50.71 this year, with it only dropping to 36.98 last season when he was badly out of form.
Cameron Steel should probably get a big upgrade with him being an all-format regular since joining Surrey & potentially not kept as an opener either as he is seen batting down the order for Surrey in all formats.
Rory Burns should be a batsman only, fairly certain he's not kept in over a decade. Burns also should be changed to very defensive in LO's rather than his current average aggression.
Ollie Pope should be an occasional keeper only. Also seems to be higher rated than Foakes (one of the very best in the world) in previous editions of CC.
Gus Atkinson should possibly be a RF, was topping 95mph in the Hundred last year
Tom Curran should probably be a all-rounder and has been one for a few years now. Not sure if still down as retired from FC cricket.

Bertie Foreman is an offspinner, named as NSW's Premier Cricket player of the season for the 2023/24 season so one to watch out for.
Archie Lenham needs to be changed to an all-rounder. He's always been an all-rounder coming through the ranks and is now batting in the top 5 (at 3 this season) for the 2nd XI where he's been impressing with the bat in the red ball. Also batted at 7 in his last FC game.

Jaydev Unadkat should be changed to a full overseas over Shadab Khan. Also can't find anything about Shadab Khan being a overseas at Sussex this season, even for the T20s.
              Henry Rogers is missing

Amir Khan is missing from Warwickshire. He's an opener like Hamza Shaikh.
Kai Smith if possible should be down as a UAE player as he has played at 2 U19 World Cups for them.
Chris Woakes is a RFM nowadays. His bowling (average, economies) comes across quite badly in my saves for the past 2 or 3 years so perhaps needs a boost
Aamer Jamal should potentially be made an all-rounder

Kashif Ali should be changed to very aggressive in FC's. From 13 FC's since his debut in 2022 he has a strike rate of 60.41 (alongside 2 100's & 4 50's at a average of 34.52), while he had a strike rate of 61.29 last season as well as 66.05 this season from 5 matches where he has so far averaged 66.05 with 2 centuries.
Rehaan Edavalath isn't a WK and is only a opening bat.
Nathan Smith has massively improved his strike rate in FC's in recent years with him going from a blocker to a much freer batter in the matches I've seen. In the 2 matches he played in 2022/23 he had a strike rate of 69.37 as well as an average of 27.25, while in 2023/24 he had a strike rate of 59.32 to go with an average of 24.50. He should be changed to aggressive in FC's rather than being kept as a defensive bat.
Adam Finch is a RMF, there's not many games he plays at with a speed gun, but there were a few matches when he was around 19 where he was bowling regularly around the 85-86 mph mark.

George Hill should be changed to average aggression in FC's. He had a strike rate of 46.55 in 2022 (average of 31.69) before progressing to 65.65 (average of 36.52) in 2023 while he has also a strike rate of 57.14 this season so far.
Dawid Malan should be changed to very aggressive or aggressive in FC's, striking at 58.20 in 2021 from 2 matches (average of 73.33) for Yorkshire, 66.66 in 2022 with an average of 66.00, and a strike rate of 72.26 to go with an average of 41.69 in 2023.
Shan Masood needs to be very aggressive in FC's. He strikes in the high 70s, with his strike rates in England being 76.17 in 2022 (average of 82.61), 77.50 in 2023 (average of 60.00) and 78.73 (average of 34.55) so far in 2024, with his stats being very similar in Pakistan as well.
Finlay Bean hasn't kept much since re-joining Yorkshire so should only be an occasional keeper. Bean should also be changed to aggressive or very aggressive in FC's, striking at 61.28 in 2023 alongside an average of 46.80, while striking at 68.46 this season from 6 matches with an average of 36.90 to go along with it.
Adil Rashid should probably only be a bowler. Bats with the tail in white ball cricket for a number of years now but in previous editions of CC he will often perform with the bat but average 40-50+ with the ball, meaning he often won't play for England in these editions either.
It's just been announced today that Mickey Edwards (foot stress fracture) & Matt Milnes (back stress fracture) are both out for the rest of the season, with Milnes playing 2 games at the start of April and Edwards only one.

A few of the players contracts lengths need changing.

I think anyone who played in the RLODC warmup games (such as Stuart van der Merwe for Surrey) or who played in the pre-season warmup games should be added as well as those who played at the U19 World Cup just gone, as they'll likely feature for their teams during the RLODC.

                Gloucestershire

Cameron Bancroft - Only has two first class wickets, so doesn’t really matter but he bowls RM

Ben Charlesworth - Should be an opener in T20s

Chris Dent - Is not a wicketkeeper. Has kept wicket in two senior games for Gloucestershire - in 2011 (against Dorset) and 2016.

James Bracey - Potentially an opener in T20s - has done the role, but infrequently and not since 2022.

Miles Hammond - Hasn’t opened in First Class cricket for a very long time. It was literally one over, but it happened today so is in my head - has switched to bowling RM, commentary suggested the change was permanent.

Zaman Akhter - Would put as RMF

Beau Webster - Is available in the County Championship and One Day Cup, not just T20s.

David Payne - Is officially on white ball only contract but has said ‘door is not closed’ on red ball. Hasn’t played a First Class or Second XI Championship game since 2022. Not sure what I’d do, but thought I’d flag it!

Tom Smith - I’m not sure if he’s officially on a white ball only contract, but hasn’t played a first class game in a long time - even when there’s been shortages of spinners that have led to youth prospects being given contracts.

Warwks are missing Norwell, Miles and Michael Rae as reserve overseas. Booth is technically on an overseas contract until he qualifies for England too. Rob Yates' SR has been much higher the last year or two. Gleeson is T20 only, Garton is white ball only and can be drafted in for red ball if needs be but hasn't played 2XI or been considered even with the injury crisis so might make sense to have him as white ball only.

I think Andy Umeed should be def or avg in first class. Low career s/r mostly because he played a bit when a teenager but going at 61 this year.

Somerset are missing Sonny Baker (RMF bowler).

Leicestershire missing Sam Wood (LHB and RFM all rounder). Will add.

Don't think Ramji is at Leicestershire anymore. Played 2nds for them on 20th May.

                    Josh Hull is LMF.

                      Thanks guys.

FYI I've added these who were missing: Asa Tribe - Glamorgan, James Hayes and Fateh Singh - Notts, Nathan Barnwell for Surrey.

Missing players without a professional match will be added soon.

He isn't contracted though, they only signed him for the One Day Cup last season. Should be in the uncontracted list.

The problem with not having him in the squad is that the game wants to create regens for them as they have a pretty small squad which is below the minimum number (to stop unwanted nasty scenarios). I'd rather have Ramji in their squad than Joe Bloggs.

Makes sense though Ian Holland is there for the rest of the season on loan now so could be moved and you'll have Sam Wood added too. Or do loans not get moved? Guess that would influence whether Currie is there too.
