  • How do you play t20?

Only on my second season in indian domestic and ipl. Playing as Hyderabad I can't figure out the right aggression like last years or before. I have tried all that I used to before mostly start aggresion at 8 or 7 if I lost 3-4 quick wickets would even keep the agression at 3-6 and then either increase bar by bar or suddenly to 9-10, but in this years version they seem to be batting way to slow at agression 6 or below almost at 50SR and suddenly increasing their agression results in 90% of the time them giving their wicket away, increasing it bar by bar is also difficult as they bat slower and also still more chance of wicket compared to years before.

I think I mostly score around the range of 140-160 in cricket captain 24, 160 is only possible too cause somehow it becomes way easier to bat the last 4-5 overs where I can score 60 runs most of the times whether iam 3 down or 6 looks like a completely new pitch.

From memory, I started off with each batsman set to score 6 or 7 rpo an over tops. Give each batsman about 10 balls and then up the aggression.
Depending on how things go, you could accelerate as necessary or able.

I've been setting my openers to 9 bars recently. They go out cheaply 4/5 times but it's an almost auto-win if they can get a decent partnership in. Other than that, I use a similar tactic to GrahamB and hopefully have a few batsmen settled enough to increase their aggression throughout the innings.

Chasing large totals is another story. I try to match the required run rate and hope for the best.

So far, it's been working successfully in my Aus domestic career.
