WI Domestic Season

I'm currently doing a career as Jamaica. Just started year 2. I have noticed that all players in the CCC and WI Academy squads in year 1 are now retired and all replaced by regens.

This includes players like Shemar Brooks who is experienced internationally, and Ashmead Nedd who was playing every format internationally in the game. There are multiple young players who made international debuts in the last year who just disappear because the game clears those two teams. The only players still in are players who got contracts overseas in the off season.

Just wanted to know if this is intentional and just necessary because of the way these teams are coded into the game, or whether it is a bug. It feels kinda bad to just lose all these players for no reason

Other than this, enjoying the game a lot! Great work guys

For the next patch we've made a change that has stopped real players auto-retiring from WIAcademy and Campuses teams.

I am currently with a career as Winward Islands (West Indies) - and boy! has it been a challenge, but then again sometimes we need a challenge to actually test out how good we really are. Along with losing a lot, a victory here and there brings satisfaction like no other.
