I love watching Bangladesh play cricket. They may not be my nation of origin, but some of their players (such as Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, and Mustafizur Rahman) are born entertainers. It has been sad to see them perform not up to their full potential, and so I want to help them do that.

Series 1 - Bangladesh v Ireland

I decided to go with 3 spinners with Shakib as back-up as it was a very spin-friendly pitch.

Debutants: Mohammed Saifuddin and Hasan Murad.

A very convincing Test win for us! Our spinners definitely did the heavy-lifting but that is to be expected on pitches like this one. After they made a decent 1st innings score, Zakir and Hossain both made tons while Iqbal helped with his half-century to put us in a very good position.

They struggled with the bat in the second innings with Hasan bowling an incredible spell of 3-47 off 26 overs! We didn't have to chase many and our openers made sure we won.

Unused: Z Hasan, M Rahim, M Hasan, E Hossain An incredible victory, set up by Iqbal's century and handy knocks from Hridoy (95), Nazmul Hossain (47), and Mahmudullah (41*). They had to chase a massive 351 and it proved too much, with spinners taking 6 of the 10 wickets to fall.

This time they batted first, and set a respectable 297 for us to chase, with no batter going really big but everyone getting at least a start. We knew it wouldn't be easy but Iqbal scored his second century of the series to set up the innings and we cruised home with 12 balls remaining.


3rd ODI

With the series already wrapped up, I chose to rest some key players and give a go to some other players, which worked well! It wasn't the most convincing win but we got the job done, and swept the series 3-0!

A dominant display! They fielded a whopping 8 debutants, with 5 of those having never played an international before! We could've got more than 400 batting first but no one outside our top 4 made more than 40.

We bowled incredibly well, even though they had a very inexperienced batting lineup. Our 3 frontline spinners, Murad, Hasan and Islam took a combined 11 wickets while Shakib chipped in with 2.
