Something I thought about over the last few days is to start the season off with a new team. Like full new.
New name. Kit. Location. Stadium etc
You could bring a 2nd team into Victoria or another region.
This would have to be a completely new type of game for stat's n fixtures to be right. But opening screens would be naming and location selecting kit colours etc. Next screen would be contract screen where it would be like normal and you get to build and go from there.
with the contract screen you should be able to offer contracted players more money and see if you can get them out and into your own new team. I feel like this "club challenge" would be hard but truly rewarding if you managed to win titles and build a dynasty from nothing.

Would love a career mode like this. There's some precedent with the CA XI team that played a few domestic seasons, basically a youth and 2nd XI team for uncontracted players. A way to prove you're the best team in the world would be a great addition to this mode to like the old T20 Champions League
