Just started the game and I love it, but I have a few basic questions.

On the training page there are some players with just a bat symbol and some with a bat and green zero symbol. What does the green zero mean?

Also there are players where the name and details are in blue. Why is this?

Green O means that batsman is an opener and will perform better at the top of the order. Several different combos have that O and they all mean that player will have an advantage when opening the batting.

Blue names mean that player is selected in the team. Additionally grey names mean a player is unavailable either due to playing for an international team, injured, or retired from that format.

Just to expand a little further.. as you move the game format tab through First Class, ODI and T20 you’ll see players gain or lose that green zero. This means the player is an opener or not suitable as an opener in that particular format. Some players will retain the ‘o’ through all 3 formats.

Take a note of the players in blue when starting new games as these are purportedly your best players, pre chosen by the game AI for one reason or another. You can obviously change these, but the AI at that point has put that team in for a reason.
