Please could there be the return of some warm up matches in the English season?
Playing as Glamorgan the first match up is Yorkshire. Until I get a strong team together (a few seasons in) I trundle up to Headingly and face a ridiculously strong team with stone cold players. For a few seasons I faced a Yorkshire team with the international experience of Balance, Root, Babar Azam, Bairstow, Josh Hazelwood, Bess and Rashid. I ended up having to field a 2nd XI so that my first choice players would stand a chance of building some form!
One warm up was always less than ideal and the MCC games disappeared too recently.
I would also like the chance to lose a OD warm up match to a Welsh Minor Counties team just like in real life too
