Leewards
Kieran Powell hit a thunderous century 116 off 110 balls ( 21x4, 1x6) but our two medium pacers Williams 4/53 and Powell 5/42 pegged them back as they got restricted to 282.
Jamaica
Cooper 4/50 and Alzarri Joseph 3/65 almost brought us to our knees but Powell carried his form with 86 off 68 balls (14x4, 2x6) and Williams provided much needed support in the lower order as we wrap this up in 49th over.

Gayle carries his bat throughout with 148* off 149 balls (18x4, 2x6) and Green hits his 1st ever senior half century as we post 293.

Taylor at the top and then Hutchinson lower down tried their best but in the end, they could only make 269. Miller and Thomas took 3 wickets apiece.

Zazai got selected for Afghanistan's upcoming test series so Glen got the chance instead. Another good opening stand with both Gayle and Glen reaching their 50 but then Nurse triggered a sensational collapse with Springer in tandem as we get shot for just 217.

The top 3 of Philips, Boucher and Carter ensured an easy win for Barbados. Miller picked up 2/59 for us.

Louis broke the back of the chase with 4/75 and the two spinners, Miller and Hodge picked up 2 apiece as we shot them out for just 156 in 20 overs.

Philips was head and shoulders above everyone and it was mainly due to him that we won the title.

The three pacers, Springer, Butt and Thomas were the architects of our title winning season.

CPL 2019 Final: vs Guyana

Springer was deadly with the new ball taking 4/17 but Hetmyer steadied the innings with 67* off 57 (8x4, 1x6) as they post 128.

Philips failed in the final but it was Gayle, Worker and later on Powell who ensured that we win our 3rd title.

Qualifier 2: vs Barbados

Philips (68 off 42, 8x4, 3x6) and Worker (49 off 31, 6x4, 2x6) once again combined to good measure as we post 178.

Eliminator: vs Leewards

Powell's consolidation (45 off 26 balls, 6x4, 2x6) at the end of the innings propelled us to 142. Mir starred for Leewards with 4/21.

And here is how the final table looks like. The defending champions, Trinidad & Tobago finished last which was a major shock for them. This means a new champion will be crowned. We finish 3rd so we need to take the longer route through eliminator.
And this is how the playoffs are set. We are looking for our 3rd title to equal T&T's record.
