Cricket Captain 2019 December Update released on Steam, iOS and Mac

Good evening Cricket Captain fans,

We've just released an update for Cricket Captain 2019 on Steam and iOS. This is a major update containing an important change to scoring rates which has massively affected the balance of the match engine. Due to the importance of this change we have decided to exclude the Android and Mac versions from network game play until we can update these platforms to the latest version.

- Fixed scoring rates for aggressive/defensive batsmen
- Updated database with forum feedback (including franchise 20 ovr squads)
- Fixed Test Match Championship final not being played by user
- Fixed not enough series being played in Test Match Championship (same 9 teams now play)
- Fixed issue with expected rather than actual salary displaying in contracts for squad
- Added free hits to OD friendlies
- Updated Ind FC qualification
- Removed NZ vs Eng from Test Champ
- Fixed 2039 crash

Good updates. Have free hits been added to all network t20 and OD also? Have defensive batsmen scoring rates been increased? Excited about this if they have been - long overdue!

Free hits online caused too many bugs, so we left them out. Now we've got it more solid elsewhere, we may look back in to it for CC2020.

The scoring rate fix will improve defensive scoring rates.

Great update Sureshot Only a few bugs with regard to bowler selection, sometimes in WI squad, Roach & Gabriel come in 1st change and bowl less than 10% of the overs in the innings. I dare say that must be the case in other team selections also. South Africa is still too strong as most of their batsmen have been given aggressive rating in the game. In one Test match in India, on a crumbling 5th-day pitch, they chased down 430 runs losing 4 wickets only @ nearly 5 an over!

Some South African players aggressive rating and Bowling rating is way off the charts. For instance, I played a series Ind vs SA in India, SA won 3-0 and these were the numbers;

Hey sure shot, can you please make sure Shaheen Shah afridi and Naseem Shah are rated correctly please. They re the upcoming prospects and already performing amazingly well.

I'm not sure how you setup contracts for the BBL for this season. I found Rashid Khan open to sign prior to the 19/20 season and did so. I'm happy since he is crushing the batters, but he surely should have been in the Adelaide team for this season. Then how the AI mess with contracts is hard to say.
Even more harder to say of a certain English bloke, Will Fraine. Fraine made his debut in pro cricket last season and in this game he is selected for the first test matches for England. An unreal rise to the top in my eyes. Then he might be a superstar in the future, according to this AI perhaps.

We're still developing our Android build systems to be up and running again. We've had major complications with it following recent changes by Google and have had to create new Android build systems to match up with these requirements. When we know more, I will post in here.

Top 5 from Groups A & B combined go to QF. Top of Group B gets promoted, bottom of each group gets relegated. Top 2 from Group C go through to QF. Top of Group C gets promoted and bottom gets relegated. Top of Plate Group goes through to QF and also gets promoted to Group C.
