Can Ireland never qualify for WC? Currently my Irish side is at rank 9 in ODI rankings still the teams qualified for WC 2023 are the same as 2019. So please confirm if Ireland can qualify or not for WC. I can understand that there is no WC qualifiers in the game but same teams qualifying for WC each time is not accepted.

It's not same teams, but with the new format there will be less variety.
We're currently doing top 8 in ODI rankings and then 2 from the rest. We've been having a chat on this and the plan will be to change it so the 10 teams in the World Cup at the top 10 in the world rankings. This should then improve the odds of user teams being in World Cups. -
Or in other words, improve your ranking by one spot and your team will qualify for the next world cup.Comment
