Can't earn Aussie captaincy

Hi

I'm having an issue where no matter how well I do as SOuth Australia I can't earn the Australian national captaincy. 2 years in a row I have won all 3 leagues and still no offer to captain Australia?

Took me 3 years. Won all 3 leagues first year, won 2 the 2nd and failed in year 3 with 2 4ths and a last place in the T20 comp. And then they offered it to me. Go figure.
