Does anybody play this game online?

Just curious about whether there is much of an online community for this game, and if so how you hook up with opponents, whether there are tournaments going and that sort of thing?

I play on my phone, I tried, took very long and was unsuccessful (did not connect) not sure if it takes your region into account while searching for opponents.

How do you play on your phone - is there an app or a browser based game?
