    T20-
    Leicestershire vs Yorkshire

    Our Side-
    Carberry (C)
    N O'Brien
    Guptill
    Agathangelou
    Ali
    Hill(c)
    Taylor
    K O'Brien
    Siddle
    Onions
    Craddock

    The Match-
Yorkshire won the toss and chose to bat. We got off to a great start as a run out and two wickets from Siddle left them 10-3. But they recovered well and got to 10 overs on 77-3. An unbelielable parntership between Fawad Alam 99(47) and Roderick 85*(56) saw Yorkshire finished on 208-4. We ended on 160-7 a good score, just not against a mammoth score like that. Niall O'Brien the key man for us, 72*(46).

Both main WK's out, (Hill and Eckersley) so I brought in another all rounder in Wells and put O'Brien as WK. Gutting that all overseas players are unavailable(aside from Guptill), huge blow. Agathangelou also injured. Horror week.

      The Match-
We lost the toss and had to bat first. 130-7 after the 20 overs, not great. Carberry top scoring with 42(39). Durham reached the target off 17.3 overs, Stoneman 63NO.

After a great start we were on 90-1 off 10 overs, but Guptill 42(32) and Carberry 41(28) both fell within five balls of eachother leaving us 100-3 after 11.3. Eckersley hit a handy 27(18) and it's looking like promoting players that are in form from the second side is working out well. Finished on 161-5 after 20 overs. Kevin O'Brien who has been brilliant with the ball this season and last effectively won the match for us, Warwickshire went from 110-5 off 12 overs to 111-8 off of 13, 3 wickets in 4 balls for Kevin. Taylor got a wicket the over after then O'Brien finished them off the over after, figures of 5-32, sensational.

          County championship-
          Surrey vs Leicestershire

          O'Brien
          Allsop

          Craddock

          Sweeney on international duty

          Day One-
Conditions wise it looked a big toss to win and we did, and chose to bat. We batted poorly and only Cosgrove got to double figures 46*(100), 75-3 at lunch, very slow batting as well. An absymal batting display ended on 160 all out, only Cosgrove impressing 73(156), Taylor and Ball getting out in the late twenties, everyone else failing to get double figures. Surrey batted 15 mins before tea and batted it out, 12-0. We bowled well in the final session and they finished on 108-3, Philander taking two wickets.

          Day Two-

A sensational spell of bowling from the experienced Graham Onions saw Surrey go to lunch on 188-9, Onions 4-34 with an econemy rate of 1.78. It took onions just two overs to get his fifth wicket and get Surrey all out for 195. Us trailing by 35 runs. We got to tea on 106-1, Cosgrove and O'Brien not out in the 40's. Cosgrove failed to add to his 41(77) after tea and O'Brien only got to 50(88) leaving us 110-3 just after tea. Allsop and Hill saw out the day after Ball fell cheaply, 182-4 at stumps.

          Day Three-
265-8 at lunch, Allsop out for 76, Hill out for 47. Onions hit a vital 51 and Curran chipped in with 22 to leave us on 338 before being all out, Surrey requiring 304 to win, very even game. Surrey batted out the one over until tea, 1-0. 93-2 at stumps, Onions and Philander picking up a wicket.

          Day Four-
Surrey looked huge favourites until Philander picked up two wickets in the penultimate over before lunch, 217-5 at lunch. Surrey 86 behind. Young South African Tom Curran picked up three wickets after tea and he picked up the final wicket to see them get 298/10, win by five runs! Incredible victory.

Was very tempted to name Philander as motm as he picked up four wickets in each innings but Onions 5fer and vital 51 runs in the second innings got him motm.

            The match-
We hit a sluggish 126-5 off of our 20 overs with Cosgrove hitting 31(24) and Hill with a late charge 19(14). Lancashire looked like they were going to reach it easily needing 21 off of their final three overs but then Kyle Abbott bowled a sensational over which saw three wickets come and just one run off of it, 146-7. Lancashire needed two off of the final ball but got just one off of it, it's a draw!

              Sweeney
              Onions
              Sater

              Day One-
It looks as if this will be a hard game to complete with lots of rain forecast, but with the first two sessions forecasted sunny it was obvious that we had to chose to bat after winning the toss. Plenty of people getting in but nobody pushing past 25, 120-4 at lunch, Glos in control. 222-7 at tea, a much better session with Ball falling for 67 and Hill and Taylor hitting 40's. Philander hit a vital 42*(69) to get us to 289-10 an hour and a half into the final session, probably a par score. 15-0 at stumps.

              Day Two-
76-3 at lunch, even session after a bit of rain interrupted the session. Some incredible attacking bowling from Robert Taylor saw him take four wickets in his last three overs before tea, 181-9, brilliant session. Sayer picked up the final wicket five overs after tea, 199 all out. Us batting for 24 overs before stumps, weather permitting. Starting with a lead of 90. 67-2 at close, Cosgrove unbeaten on 43.

              Day Three-
147-4 at lunch after the first 45 mins were washed out, Cosgrove out for 74(120). 164-6 at tea, almost the whole session washed out but Glos picking up two key wickets. 198-10 with 10 overs left of the day. A lead of 288. Robert Taylor got the breakthrough in the penultimate over of the day, 21-1 at stumps.

              Day Four-
131-4 at lunch, even session. Sweeney and Sayer got the final wickets as Glos finished on 274 all out. Fantastic win.

                The match-
We won the toss and chose to bowl first. Northants started sensationally thanks to Raina 39(26) but thanks to a hat-trick from Kevin O'Brien 110-4 turned into 110-7, Northants completely collapsed to be all out for 124 after 16.4 overs, to tell you how well we did, they were 108-4 after 11 overs. A fantastic 52(37) from Martin Guptill ensured we got to the target but we only did it with two balls remaining. Another big win!

A quite woeful start from us saw us end the 11th over on 54-6, Guptill top scoring on 21(21) but a late charge from Eckersley 45*(38) and Kevin O'Brien 29(28) saw us reach 136-8. Notts started well through Alex Hales 45(43) but struggled midway through their innings despite a terrific knock from James Taylor 48*(38) and they still needed 10 off of the final over, 127-2. They managed to get five 7 runs as Kevin O'Brien picked up two wickets in the over, thrilling end to a massive match.

                        The match-
After losing the toss we were forced to field first and thank god we did, we bowled fantastically and restricted them to an incredible 76-6 after 25 overs with Onions bowling 8 overs for 1-15, an econemy rate of 1.87. They finished 140 all out after 43 overs, brilliant bowling effort. An honourable mention to all rounder to Tom Wells who made his 50 over debut in this match and finished with figures of 3-21 off of his 7 overs. After 10 overs we were 44-2, Cosgrove batted well on 23*(20). Cosgrove 72*(89) and Hill 44*(57) ensured we got to the target comfortably inside 30 overs. Huge win by 8 wickets.

                          The match-
We started excellently after Cosgrove 62(70) and Carberry 67*(81) took us to 132-1 after 25 overs. Carberry finished on 83(95) and got out when Rashid came in for his second spell, Carberry struggling against the spin once again but great to see him hitting some more runs. Neil Pinner hit an important 41(60) but we only got to 246-6 after our 50 overs, disappointing considering the start we made. Around 30 runs short of what I aimed for after 25 overs. Yorkshire started excellently and Alex Lees 44(48) got them off to a flyer. Some brilliant bowling from Tom Wells restricted them to 163-6 after 32 overs, with them still needing 84 runs. Philander finished things and finished with 4-48, us winning by 15 runs.
