Hi Guys,

Is there a way to discover in the youth team who is good or not? I'm Glamorgan (decided to be the worst side and see if I can make it great) and want to only sign young players. The problem is there is no way of telling who is good or not. Is it based on what wages they want etc?

If their batting is 55+ or their bowling is less than 20, chances are they'll do okay. However, not all will become stars.

One of the new features for this year has seen us split up the 2nd XI data in to the three different match types that are played (3 day, One Day and 20 over). If you click on the match type filter (First Class, etc) then you will see these options down the bottom.

This should help you determine the potential if these players more accurately.

There is always a gamble with youth players though.

Their asking salary is also usually a good indicator, although I guess it is possible that some mediocre players could think they are better than they really are!
