Game crash while trying to start a new tournament or new game

Hi guys

It's been a month or so since I played this game. Suddenly, I am not able to start a new game or a new tournament. I see crashes happening every time. I have attached the screenshot of the error. Any solution?

Please do this:

Open Steam on your PC.
Go to your Library, right click on Cricket Captain 2014 and select Properties.
Click Local Files and then Verify Integrity of Game Cache.

This will check your installed version against the latest Steam version and will check for file errors. It sounds like a corruption issue.

Let me know if that doesn't work.

Please disable the Steam overlay:

- Right click on the game in the library.
- click properties
- un-tick 'enable the steam overlay while in-game'

If that doesn't work, please let me know what anti-virus software you use.
