  • Pakistan and Karachi under Ahson8

Okay, so waiting for the Android version was becoming a bit tiresome so I've decided to start my save on the Demo and then I'll continue it on the Android version by syncing the saved game on to Android via Dropbox.

Much like former Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur, I'll be coaching Pakistan in all formats as well as Karachi Kings in the PSL

Our first series is against Netherlands which is a great series to start with and try and figure team combinations and give some youngsters a go. This will also be Babar Azam's first match as Pakistan captain in ODIs. Considering all of this in mind, here is our squad for the series (in alphabetical order):

    Babar Azam (c)
    Shaheen Afridi
    Iftikhar Ahmed
    Sarfaraz Ahmed
    Abid Ali
    Haider Ali
    Mohammad Amir
    Shadab Khan
    Mohammad Rizwan
    Imam ul-Haq
    Nasim Shah
    Usman Shinwari
    Haris Sohail
    Imad Wasim
    Fakhar Zaman

Uncapped batsman Haider Ali gets a Pakistan call-up after an impressive PSL, while 17 year old pacer Nasim Shah is also called up to the ODI squad after making an impact in tests.

      Pakistan vs Netherlands 1st ODI:

The first game of the season. Young Haider Ali gets a debut at 4. Pakistan's XI is: Fakhar, Imam, Babar (c), Haider, Rizwan (wk), Iftikhar, Imad, Shadab, Amir, Shinwari, Shaheen.

Pakistan win the toss and elect to bowl first. The opening bowlers, Afridi and Shinwari make early inroads, and Netherlands are never able to recover from there to be honest as they collapse to a paltry total of 155, being dismissed in the 41st over. Pakistan's chase isn't wholly convincing as they lose 4 wickets in the process, with a rare failure for captain Babar, and Haider unable to impress in his first outing. Nevertheless, Fakhar anchored the innings with his 61 to take Pakistan to victory, also securing the player of the match award in the process.

        2nd ODI::

Far better showing from the Netherlands batting lineup. While they started slowly, they made sure not to lose wickets upfront and took toll on the spinners particularly Shadab, however the spinners recovered well with Imad taking out the middle order, and while Shadab was expensive in the middle overs, he came back well in the death to take 4 wickets. In response, Fakhar and Babar were slow to start, but while Fakhar eventually got out trying to up the antr, Babar anchored the innings with his 93. Haider made an impressive quick 59 as well which was very pleasing. All in all, another good victory which gives us the chance to experiment in the 3rd ODI
