Win10 Issue

I've recently tried firing up Cricket Captain 2006 on Windows 10. Apparently the game can't save my file whenever I try to save and exit, claiming that the save file is corrupted (the message appears too quickly to get a screencap). I don't see how it's corrupted, since it loads everything correctly and just as it was when I last played the game. Any ideas/suggestions?

So what you're saying is you get this message (albeit briefly) and it fails to save properly?

Does it happen with other save games?
