I've seen it happen, although I'd like to see it more. They have always got a "fracture" of course, so it's no surprise if they don't bat very well. It'd be good if you could have a retired hurt batsman turning out to be less seriously injured from time to time.
We need hourly injuries. Injuries such as bruising wont put you out for 5 days like in game, and something like a broken nose or concussion will only put you out for a few hours (hint hint).
