I had the same problem, its due to the graphics card although i did reinstall at and it now happens more infrequently so possibly a try

Or possibly a graphics card on the way out. Definitely an issue on your machine though. Let us know how you get on.

May be worth re-installing game to rule out the game becoming corrupted, however, that doesn't really find out why the game corrupted, which will in most instances be caused by something. Virus, malware, Windows needs re-installing/fixing, etc.

Loading the game up full screen, the game screen is now wobbly, with lines running through it, and the game doesn't seem to fit properly into the screen? Is this the resolution, or a problem?
