I feel that some of the Surrey boys are underrated e.g. Rory Hamilton-Brown, Tom Maynard, Jason Roy and Stuart Meaker, perhaps some need tweaking?
-
Paul Stirling doesnt get picked for Middlesex in one day and t20 games. He also doesnt get picked for ireland which means he must be fairly underrated in the game. Also players who play for counties and associate counties dont play any first class or one day games except when their respective counties face touring countries. Examples of some players are Ryan Ten Doeschate, Niall O'Brien, Kevin O'Brien, William Porterfield, Kyle Coetzer, etc. Note that this only obviously happens when you go straight into managing a country or australian state. Could this be changed for the next patch or if its too difficult for the next icc version?

I was playing the first season (2011) and lasted patch and to be fair KP probably isn't underrated too much and I think his averages for that season were actually fairly good but perhaps he could be slightly better.

Hmm, what year and can you repeat it in other saves? KP always seems to be a fairly consistent performer, but with the many thousands of different saves, you'll get oddities every now and then.

I have just seen something that sickened me: Luke Wright playing a test! Ahead of Pietersen who seems underrated in this game.

New patch out, but no new database for this one, just focusing on online. So I'll leave this thread as is.

i've just started playing the second patch n ive noticed few things :
now since zimbabwe is back i've noticed its next series with pakistan which is starting from 1st september is still missing from itinerary why is that so .. ??
Afridi retired playing test cricket since the england tour last year why is he still available for test cricket ? Asad Shafique is 'very aggressive' which is not true in real he is like moderate or rather defensive player and is not a WK batsmen ..
Hafeez is not selected regularly in all formats which in real is complete opposite he is their premier opener in all formats nowadays .. Sohail Tanivr must be LFM not 'LMF' .. Fawad Alam is extremely OVERATED he in real cannot clear boundary easily haha !
Misbah is not playing regularly while he is captain in all formats for a while now is little underrated in game ..
Now to india .. Gambir not a WK batsmen .. Y Pathan not even selected for ODi or T20 while he is specialist for them for some time now .. Yuvraj , Raina and Kohli is not selected more often .. Ganguly has retired while in database he is still availabe for ODi's n T20's !
England .. Bresnan n Shahzad Bowling is Extremely underrated while there batting is rather overrated !!

One thing I have noticed is that Ali Brown's name is spelt Ally. It doesn't really affect the game but it is just a bit annoying

Joe Root
From what I've seen of Yorkshire's Joe Root, he seems to be more of an opener than just a normal batsmen, particularly in FC matches. When playing for the Lions the other day, he opened in the 4 day match

Im happy with the way the MCC squad is, I just want Hassan and Nabi in it as well.

Yep, Swart and Cooper have to be Australian players, otherwise as said they'll just be allowed to play T20. At the moment we have no way of allowing them to play for Netherlands and as a full-time state player. Have put it as one of the things to look at, especially going to be needed if/when we introduce Associates.Originally posted by dancingmongoose View PostI too noticed this, it is because if he is available for the Netherlands he will only play 1 season for SA and can only play T20s as is counted as an international player. Hence the need for a dual nationality/passport that allows things like this to happen. This is also applicable for Michael Swart (WA/Netherlands).
While I am here, Afghanistan's Mohammad Nabi and Hamid Hassan should be in the MCC squad, as they are in real life.
The MCC squad is the way it is deliberately, if we make it the real squad then it causes so many issues with the way the English setup works. Again, I'll put it in the things for us to discuss. Not sure either of the above are patchable.

I would like the whole way the MCC team operates in game to be changed to reflect real life somehow. Not sure how this would be done, but at the moment it's basically 'Here are some randomly created players who suck really bad, bash them please'. I don't really see the point atm.Originally posted by dancingmongoose View PostWhile I am here, Afghanistan's Mohammad Nabi and Hamid Hassan should be in the MCC squad, as they are in real life.

He plays for the Netherlands...
