How Ranking System works

I am not able to undertand how ranking increase or decrease

I noticed that somtimes I won the series only 1 rating increase or remain same

as unchanged

Does it matter how you won the series 4-1 or 3-2 rating are same for both ?

If you have won the series, you get 2 points, draw is 1 point, loss is 0 points.

How to apply this - if previously you had drawn the series with the team, and you win this time, your rating will increase from 1 point for the series against them, to 2 points. If you lose it, it will decrease to 0 points.

Count all the wins losses and draws on your teams performance, apply the points as stated, and that is the total of your ranking.
