how to make a permenet captain ??

Right so the computer decides for itself who it wants to be captain but when i change the captain it happens for one match and then in the next match the same old captain is chose by the computer..

is there anyway to assign a permanent captain?

I haven't found a way in the international career, it changes at the start of every series. In domestic it remembers.

i think before the start of any series in international mode you should have the option to select your captain and his deputy for that particular season, similarly in domestice seasons at the start of the season a captian and vice captain should be selected for the rest of the season

in real life it has and it would also be good if something similar is added to every single player stats too i.e. how many matches he captained and what is his success percentage. Certainly it will make the game more interesting

It would be interesting if it had an in-game effect, otherwise, I'm not sure it'll be something that the developers would bother with in the short-term.

I do often wonder how a captain might have an effect on an otherwise crap (for want of a better term) team. Would Allan Border, Mark Taylor, or Steve Waugh, for instance, have had any more success with trying to win the latest Ashes series in Australia than Ricky Ponting or Michael Clarke?

It's really boring . The game automatically changes the captain . Not only the captain when you play an international career you have to select the coaches all over again in every series you play . I am tired of selecting player>Batting>General or Player>Bowling>General over and over again .

But I think selected captain in ICC plays better than his skills . The real Captain is me not the player I select as Captain .
