Yes, the third bowling point is for the ninth wicket, and when a batsmen doesn't retire hurt as far as I'm aware you get the third bowling point on the fall of the 9th wicket, as you should. But, when someone retires hurt, for whatever reason it becomes impossible to get the third bowling point.

Jeet Raval - Yup, that's a mistake on my part (not that I put him in as white, but overlooked the initial automation of players physical characteristics pending on their country). Easily fixed.

    Wides, yup, will fix that.

And that has been going on for a while, at least as far back as ICC 2008.

Why has Jeet Raval been depicted as a white-blond? Isn't he supposed to be Indian? >> http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/conte...er/277914.html

Yeah, will be too big for the zip allowance here.

Use our e-mail, you may need to upload it somewhere like fileshare and just link to that.

    Another Bug

Ok, so the striker hits the ball down the ground, batters try to take 2, fielder hits the striker's end & yet the non-striker is given out.

I've the cap-file saved at the end of the over, in case you guys want to have a look (couldn't attach it here).

If you guys haven't already tried it then you can try what I'd done & play a couple of Championship seasons & record the number of catches-dropped/taken by each player & you might just be surprised by the percentage of drops. This is also one of the reasons I've asked for catches-dropped/taken statistic on players' statistics-page.

Seen things like this before and we have double checked everything we can without actually looking at what is happening in debug. If you can get us a saved game where we can actually play the offending highlight then we can do something about it. You may have already gone beyond that point, but that is what we'd need, which is what makes these bugs so hard.

If you do get to repeat the error, please save it (this goes for everyone). It's something which has been bugging (intentional pun!) us for a while, they are really rare, but without having access to an offending highlight, we can't do anything about it.
In fact, this is what I'd thought of, immediately AFTER I'd gone past that over, that may be I should've saved a copy of the save-file at the end of that over but....

EDIT : Why was AI able to sign Ponting as a 20over specialist? (look at the attachment)

I know it has been mentioned before but does anyone feel that far too many catches are dropped? I just had a game (see first attachment) where the opposition got away with a draw by the skin of their teeth due to their openers getting dropped TWICE (in 6th & 8th overs of the second innings) & then put on a 100 or so for the first wicket; you rue those dropped catches even more on such days. I think the percentage of drops is extremely high; I remember I'd kept a record of all the dropped/taken catches for a couple of seasons in a save a while back & I was astonished to realise that almost all of my best catchers (most of them with 0.70 CPM or better) were dropping 1 catch for every 5 or so they were holding on to which is insane; even more so when I consider the fact that I always make sure to put my best catchers in catching positions.

Secondly, I think I may've encountered another bug. Well, the keeper misses the ball (as usual ) & it goes over the boundary but opposition batsmen keep running & one of the fielders in pursuit picks the ball up from behind the boundary-line & throws it back in & they get only 3 instead of a 4 (You can see in the second attachment that the opposition batsman is turning around for the next run even though ball has already gone passed the line & the fielder is still after it.)

Oh ok. I'd thought, if the Main can play 2XI then why not the Reserve. Thanks for answering anyway.

Well, obviously, Reserve will only turn up when the Main Overseas player isn't there that's why he's called "Reserve" but I was thinking, if & when he's there (ie when Main isn't there), why can't he play for 2XI if the Main player can!

Ok, why can't I play my Overseas-Reserve in 2XI matches. My focus is always on County Championship so I like to play my best FC players in 2XI to increase their form while an OD or T20 is being played. Please look into this issue.
