He's down as South African but retired from international formats, so he wouldn't be picked for Pakistan.
As he's only been able to play for SA for the last 2 months, it's best to have him not available till next year, apart from the soon to be release World Cup patch.

Didn't we already have him down as a South African? I thought I noted this in the original DB?Originally posted by Sureshot View PostTahir has only just become available (1st Jan), he will be available to play in 2011 as a South African, as will Peterson, who was Kolpak at Derby last season and than started playing (legible to) for South Africa again in October.

I'm in 2022 with Victoria and I thought that I might as well take up the aussie captaincy as I get offered it every year. When I was given my default side for the world t20 (the one you get given and can then change) it had 3 batsmen, 1 wicket-keeper, 3 bowlers and 8 all-rounders! And in the season before they often all played in the one match! I think that is over-doing it.

Perhaps needs toning down a bit as its the same for the international teams.
I think the number is about ok.
There are good allrounders and not-so-good allrounders. Some are better at one thing than another. The denotation just gives a user who doesn't know a team well an Idea that a certain player "could" bowl if required or vice versa.
Quite often you'll see a side use 10-12 bowlers for 50+ overs (or more) throughout a season. 7 or 8 are the main bowlers, the others are all allrounders "of sorts"
On the other side. Croft opening the batting in OD stuff Carter doing both. Mitchell bowling in OD, there are lots of players who do quite a bit of their "none specialist" discipline. Sort of "bits and pieces" rather than allrounder.
Quite happy with knowing who is who...essp when I captain a side I'm not truly familiar with. After all there isn't a "watch these guys play in the nets" mode
Scritty

Judging from my experiences in international mode, I'd like to see the easy and normal game modes renamed as normal and hard.
